Realizing that I was very close to him, I took a step back, but before I could pull away, Arc's arm circled around me, drawing me in close. My breath caught, and I froze, suddenly hyperaware of his touch and how close we were. His eyes held mine, a piercing blue that seemed to deepen in the dim lighting of the room.

His hand moved slowly, almost reverently, tracing a path along my spine, his fingers gliding over my bare skin. The sensation sent a shiver through me, each touch leaving a trail of warmth in its wake. He took his time, letting his fingers move up in a languid, torturously slow line, making me acutely aware of every inch between us.

My pulse quickened, and I felt the tension between us building, his eyes never leaving mine. There was an undeniable pull, something unspoken lingering in the space between us, drawing us closer than I'd ever allowed before. And for a moment, the world outside faded, leaving just the two of us, enveloped in a silence heavy with anticipation.

With his hand still on my back, Arc guided me gently, moving us backward into the room. I could feel his steady warmth close against me as he maneuvered us inside, closing the door with a swift motion of his foot. The sound of the door's thud filled the quiet, heightening the intensity of the moment as his gaze locked onto mine.

Then, in a swift, almost breathless movement, he turned us to the right, backing me against the wall. His hands came up, resting on either side of my face, caging me in with his arms. He leaned in, so close I could feel his breath, warm and unsteady, against my skin. His face was only inches from mine, his eyes dark and unwavering, filled with a desire he made no attempt to hide.

"뭐하세요? (What are you doing?)" I managed to whisper, my own breath catching as my heart raced in my chest.

"내가 해서는 안 될 일 (Something I shouldn't be doing)," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, his gaze flickering from my eyes to my lips and back again.

"그러면 안된다는 걸 알면...(If you know that you shouldn't...)" I swallowed, my voice trembling. "그럼 왜 하는 걸까요?(Then why are you doing it?)"

A hint of a smile curved on his lips, and his voice softened, a trace of vulnerability in his eyes. "안 그러면 더 후회할 테니까.(Because I'll regret it more if I don't.)"

Before I could respond, he closed the space between us, his lips pressing softly against mine. The kiss was gentle at first, tentative, as if he was testing boundaries neither of us had dared cross before. But then, slowly, it deepened, filled with a longing and passion that spilled over, unable to be contained any longer. His hand slid up to my neck, his fingers resting there, pulling me closer as the kiss grew more intense. I felt the warmth of his touch, steady and reassuring, igniting something deep within me.

In that moment, the world seemed to melt away, leaving only the heat of his embrace and the rhythm of his breathing against mine. It was exhilarating and terrifyingly right all at once, like we were surrendering to something that had been building between us, simmering beneath the surface, waiting for this very moment to finally ignite.

The kiss seemed to stretch on, time dissolving as he held me there, close enough to feel his heartbeat matching mine. When we finally pulled back, both of us were breathless. But he didn't retreat; instead, his lips lingered near mine, tracing a soft path to the corner of my mouth, and then, slowly, he moved to my neck. His breath against my skin sent a shiver through me, his lips grazing a delicate line along my neck, each touch leaving me more breathless than before.

A deep warmth radiated between us, an unspoken connection that felt undeniable.

Arc lifted his head, bringing his forehead against mine, his gaze intense as he looked directly into my eyes. There was something searching in his expression, a question I couldn't quite decipher, and yet, somehow, I held his stare, a surprising steadiness rising within me. I didn't know where that bravery came from, but it must have been enough, because his eyes softened, and without another word, he bent down and scooped me up in his arms. He carried me further into the room, setting me gently on the bed.
