As soon as I got home, my phone rang. Jack was calling again. I answered it as soon as I went upstairs.
"Is it true?" Jack asked. "Your friend Marley is going to call the cops on me?"
"I don't know, from the look she gave me, she seemed like she was going to!" I explained.
"Oh no..." Jack panicked. "What the hell am I going to do?"
"Jack, I think the right thing to do at this point is to turn yourself in!" I suggested.
"I don't know if I even want to do that!" Jack exclaimed.
"Jack, if you keep hiding, people will eventually figure everything out and you'll get into a large amount of trouble! You could even get the death penalty or something!" I explained. "Not only that, but I've become involved as well and that means I could go to jail!"Jack was silent for a moment and then he spoke again.
"I'll just wait and see what your friend is doing and if the police come knocking at my door, I'll surrender peacefully." Jack said. "As long as it's during the day..."
"O-Okay, I guess..." I answered.Jack then hung up. I was nervous that that was his last call he would make to me before he would get arrested.
After sunset, I began to get worried. Jack's evil self was out there somewhere, probably killing another innocent soul. The words Marley told me rang through my head. What if what she said was true? What if she actually does go after Jack?
Suddenly, my phone vibrated. I looked at the Caller ID. It was Jack. I breathed a sigh of relief but it also got me worried. What if it wasn't him on the other side of the line?
"Hello?" I asked.
"Jackie it's me!" Jack immediately answered. "I'm not being controlled again! It just randomly stopped!"
"Well you did say you got a break from it sometimes right?" I asked.
"That's only for one night! It's been two nights now!" Jack explained.
"That is weird..." I assured him.
"Do you think he's somehow moved on?" Jack asked.
"There's no way that could happen!" I responded. "Your evil self could be planning on a surprise attack or something! Who knows?"
"This is really freaking me out!" Jack worried.
"Me too!" I said. "Just hang in there, okay?"Suddenly, I heard what sounded like screaming coming from the other line.
"Jack? JACK? Are you okay? ANSWER ME!" I panicked.
Just then, another low, moaning voice was heard on the line.
"Jack can't answer the phone right now..." The voice responded.
"A-Are you his evil self?" I asked.
"Please, call me AntiSepticEye..." He responded evilly. "Sorry for the scare, although I live for it!"
"You get out of him right now!" I demanded.
"Yeah... That's not gonna happen!" He immediately responded. "Now if you'll excuse me I have to get outta here..."
"You aren't gonna kill anybody!" I stated.
"Yes I am..." He replied. "I'm going to kill your friend in her sleep..."My eyes widened.
"You're not gonna lay a hand on her!" I exclaimed.
"I have to... She's somebody who's after me!" AntiSepticEye said.
"She didn't mean anything like that!" I explained. "She was only mad because you killed her father!"
"And now she's going to take her anger out by trying to kill me!" AntiSepticEye exclaimed. "Sorry, sweetie, but your friend has got to go!"With that, he hung up. I immediately went to try and contact Marley. But no matter what I did, she didn't pick up her phone and she wouldn't respond to my texts.
Who am I kidding? She won't believe me anyways! According to her were not even friends anymore...
I did all that I could...
