I was alone for the next couple of hours in the hospital. I was finally able to get something in my stomach at 12, although with my mind racing still about the church fire and AntiSepticEye, I didn't really eat much.
Then, around 1pm, I noticed Jack coming into the room to visit me, he had a bouquet of flowers and even a "Get Well Soon" balloon. I couldn't help but smile, although it was incredibly awkward seeing him do this to me.
"You didn't have to do this..." I smiled.
"I have no choice at this point." Jack explained. "After everything I've done."
"Don't worry about it, I'm fine..." I admitted.
"You say that now, but eventually, if we keep doing what we're doing, I am going to get you killed!" Jack worried. "And even if I don't, I'll probably end up somehow scarring you for life!"
"Jack you've already done plenty of events that have scarred everybody, but it hasn't done any affect on me." I said.
"Are you sure?" Jack asked.
"I'm sure." I assured him.Jack looked at my body, the bandages on my arms and legs and the small burn wounds on the top of my shoulders. He had an uncomfortable look in his eyes.
"H-How long do you have to stay here?" Jack asked.
"Only until Friday." I said.He breathed a sigh of relief.
"How's Marley doing?" Jack asked.
"She's doing fine." I said. "Although, she's not sure if she wants to help us out anymore after what happened."
"I can't say I blame her..." Jack responded. "I nearly got her killed."
"But we need all the help we can get for your situation!" I explained. "Especially before the next full moon."
"It won't matter." Jack argued. "AntiSepticEye is still too powerful."
"Which is why you need to try to get in control of him soon!" I told him. "Because if you keep letting him control you, there's no way you'll be able to do anything before the next full moon!"
"What can I do?" Jack asked. "You're not gonna be able to help me tonight or tomorrow night."
"You don't need my help for this!" I assured him. "You can do it by yourself! I have faith in you."
"Thanks..." Jack smirked. There was a moment of silence, and then he spoke again.
"Jackie... Ever since you've first started hanging out with me, I've grown, a liking, for you." Jack admitted.
"A liking?" I asked. "Like a crush?"
"I guess you could say that." He confessed. "I guess that's partially the reason I brought in the balloons and stuff."
"We've only known each other possibly a week!" I explained.
"And this week has probably been the most memorable week of my life." Jack said. "Because it's not often you find someone who actually wants to help somebody who's killing other people. And there's basically nobody else with a more positive attitude than you."
"Really?" I asked.
"Really!" Jack smiled. My heart began pounding out of my chest with every word he said. He likes me! More than likes me! I didn't know how to respond, because of the whole situation, but I kept positive for him like he knows I do.
"You know it's going to be tough." I told him. "With AntiSepticEye possessing you and trying to kill me every so often."
"I know..." Jack said. "But maybe if this whole thing ends, and hopefully if I'm still alive, maybe we could do something together."Those were bigger ifs than I could tell he was saying. Because neither of us knew if we were going to get out of this alive.
"Okay..." I nodded. "We can do that..."
Jack smiled a big smile. He then looked at the time.
"I gotta start heading home, I need to upload my second video!" He said.
"Okay." I said.He said goodbye and then rushed out the door. I then looked at the time, it was already 2pm, and I didn't know when my parents would actually be back. So I decided to close my eyes and take a nap.
