The Eiffel Tower was a magnificent structure. "How beautiful!" exclaimed Elizabeth. She noticed there were steps. "Let's climb all the way up."
Mr Henry said, "Really? You girls go ahead...I'm kind of tired. There are a lot of steps to climb...whew! I'll wait down here. Enjoy the view from the top! Take care!"
Anna and Elizabeth went up the stairs. Elizabeth felt bored and tired, so she counted the steps to pass the time. When, she reached to the top, she was surprised. There were 1710 of them!
"Anna!" she shouted. "The tower has 1710 steps! This means that..." there was silence. Anna was speechless. "Oh yeah! I should've known. The Eiffel Tower has 1710 steps! 'Tour' is French was Tower!"
Elizabeth smiled. Just then, she saw a man who looked familiar. He had dark eyes. Just then, Elizabeth gasped. She had seen the picture of a man on the walls of the Rodriguez house. "Jonathan Kenneth!" she whispered to Anna. The two girls decided to shadow Jonathan Kenneth. After about 15 minutes of watching him stand still, the girls decided to quit. They were just about to leave, when another man, who seemed to be in disguise came to him.
The girls couldn't hear anything he said, but watched them carefully. The disguised man handed Jonathan a yellow envelope. Then, the two men went down the stairs.
The girls were so surprised they could freak out and scream, but obviously they didn't. They rushed back down the stairs.
After breaking the good clue they found to Mr Henry, the three of them returned home.
The next morning, there was something in the mailbox. Surprisingly, it was addressed to Elizabeth.
