When she opened her eyes again, she found herself trapped behind some bars. Anna was sleeping beside her. Alas! She was trapped, a prisoner.
She took some time to figure out where she was and what had just happened. She tried to wake up Anna. Anna wouldn't budge a limb. She was still breathing. Suddenly, three men entered the room. Mr David was one of them. They looked at the girls and laughed.
"So," teased one. "Did you enjoy your chloroform?" He laughed loudly. Anna woke up. "W-where are we?" she asked, wearily. Elizabeth sighed. "Let us out of here, or else we shall report you to the police!"
"But how will you do that?" said another. "Your bags are back in the graveyard!"
"You're going to stay here until we decide what to do with you." One of the men shut the door and now, they were prisoners.
Elizabeth frowned. "What are we going to do now? We should've never gone to the graveyard!"
Anna hugged her and said, "Relax! At least we found the culprits. Now, we can die in peace!"
Elizabeth frowned, "That makes me feel a lot better." she said, sarcastically. Then, she looked serious. She wiped off the tears from her face and said, " I can't believe they made us breathe chloroform."
"I can't believe you're such a brave sleuth. You're getting better and better. Next time you solve a case, make sure you tell me everything. " Smiled Anna. Elizabeth looked at her and said, "There won't be a next time if we don't get out of this mess. We need to catch the thieves before they leave."
