Both the girls walked around the cell-room. Then, they stopped. "It's hopeless!" cried Anna. "We're absolutely done for!"

Elizabeth leaned on the wall. All of a sudden, she felt a rumbling noise followed by a vibration beneath her feet. Something had moved!

Elizabeth closely looked at the ground. She touched it and felt it. "This is hollow!" she cried, in delight. "There is obviously something below there."

She leaned on the wall once more. The vibration grew bigger. "This might take a hundred years if you do it," giggled Anna. "Why don't you just leave it to the experts?"

Anna went to the other side of the cell room. Then she rushed to the wall opposite where Elizabeth was standing and hit hard with her hands.

The girls stood away from the vibrating area. The noise became louder and louder, and the vibrations, rather annoying.  After seconds, a small block opened.

"A trapdoor! Just underneath the cell! How cool is that!" Elizabeth said, with delight. Anna couldn't help gaping at the secret passage that the trapdoor led to.

"We need to go down there. We don't have any other option." said Elizabeth, and rushed down the stairs that the door opened to. Anna followed behind.

There was a long flight of stairs that led to the very bottom of the ground. It was very dark. Luckily, Anna had the torch light on her jeans pocket. "You must be glad I took it out of that bag." The girls' beamed with joy.

The very bottom was a small place. Elizabeth wasn't satisfied this was the very end of the trapdoor. They looked around and touched walls to see if any place was hollow. Unfortunately there were none.

All of a sudden, Anna noticed a small door at the very end of a passage. The girls rushed there. The door was not locked! Soon, they were out of the trapped cell. They were now in a dark room with windows. It was raining heavily outside, and from what seemed from inside, the girls knew where they were : Mr David's mansion!

Mr David was obviously not home. So the girls decided to grab some umbrellas, sneak out and take a cab home. But what about the entrance guards?
