Derek's phone rang. It buzzed on the nightstand.

Derek opened his eyes and reached across his bed to grab it.  The screen name read Baby Girl.  He flipped it open.

"What's up Sugar Momma?"

"Sorry Honey I got nothing sweet for you tonight.  We have a case." Penelope's voice came through the phone.

"Okay. I'll be there in ten."

"Bring your bag. It's out of state. We are debriefing on the plane."

"Okay, love you Baby Girl."

"Love you too, Dew Drop."

Derek climbed out of bed and threw one a shirt and some pants. He clipped his handcuffs to the back of them and put his gun on his side. Then he grabbed his bag and left.

"We're headed to Hannon, Washington," Penelope stated. She handed out iPads to everyone, but Reid. He got a folder, "It's about two hours Southeast of Seattle."

"145 miles." Reid said as he went through the file.

"They have had a couple of serial brutalizes up there. They has been five victims and only one survivor." Everyone scrolled though the crime scene photos.

"The unsub takes a knife to their legs, then their ears. All these women bled out where they were dumped."

"Where were they dumped? Hotchner asked.

"The sides of roads. Usually a highway."

"They don't show any remorse. Each victim was pushed out of a car at high speeds and left to die. Like throwing out the trash." Derek said.

"I'm left wondering why legs and ears?" Rossi said from his chair, "They are so far apart on the body, there's not much correlation."

"The legs are a way to have them slowly bleed and and to inflict pain," Spencer theorized, "The ears are the main point of attack. They are cleanly cut, whereas the legs are hacked away at."

"Why ears?" JJ asked.

"Maybe it's a way of telling the world that they were bad listeners?" Rossi half smiled at the idea.

"What about the girl that survived?" Reid asked.

"When Bree was pushed out of the bad guy's car and guy was following behind her. He pulled over and had the sense enough to call 911 even tho he was way over the drinking limit. He doesn't remember the car that the girl came out of at all." Penelope stated, " Poor girl's in the hospital with a whole lot of stitches and a broken arm."

"JJ I want you and Penelope to go see what you can get her to remember. Derek and Rossi, you get to visit the DUI." Hotch said. He went through the file some more and everyone went to their respective spots on the plane.
