Theodora flipped through news channels, all of which were blabbing their heads off about the Hannon Ear Stealer. Honestly, it was a pretty lame name and most of the channels were spinning terrible tells that weren't even close to being true. Some even ranted about the failures of the FBI. She turned the tv off.
" I don't like this." Skyler pulled her knees up to her chin, "We're the right age for him and Anica is out there all alone..."
"She'll be fine. She's at the police station and Anica can handle herself."
"Do you think that the FBI will beable to handle it?"
"Yeah. My cousin went to become an FBI agent. He was smart enough to be a rocket scientist tho."
"Did he?"
"I don't actually... We haven't talked in almost ten years..."
"Maybe you should email him?"
"He's technophobic. I don't think he has an email or a cell phone."
"Really? What's his name? Maybe we can google him and find out." Skyler was now curious. It wasn't often Theodora talked about her family. Let alone cousin. Skyler grabbed Anica's laptop from where she had left it on the couch.
"Spencer Reid, but he could be in a mental hospital like his mom for all I know..."
Skyler looked up at Theodora.
"He is an FBI agent and he's here in town working to catch the serial killer." She said.
"How do you know that?" Theodora said surprised.
"Theo! Anica mentioned him earlier. He was one of the agents at the Funeral home!"
"You're kidding?! I must've spaced it."
"Yeah you did."
"Let's call Ani and tell her." Theodora pulled out her phone and quickly got it ringing. She put it on speaker.
It rang. And rang. Then finally she answered.
"Hello?"
"Ani! Spencer Reid is Theo's cousin!!" Skyler yelled.
"I'm sorry but I'm not actually here... This is my voicemail. Leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible." The phone beeped.
"Damn her."
"I hope she's alright." Skyler said.
"Yeah.... Maybe we should go pick her up from the station..."
"Just to be safe.. There is a serial killer on the loose.."
They both stood up and put on their gear. Skyler tossed Theodora the keys. They got it the car and made the thirty second drive to the police station.
