Addy

Tears start to form at the corners of my eyes and I have to suck in a breath because I'm laughing so hard. When I finally calm down enough and look at Liam his face is so perplexed it makes me want to start laughing again but I hold back. A few chuckles still leave me as I clutch my stomach but I shake my head between breaths. "Sorry, that was just...," I can't even finish my statement because I'm not really sure how I feel about it.

The way he looked at me made my body heat and I started throbbing between my legs. Not sure if I liked that or not. Nothing can happen between Liam and I, no matter how hot he is, I know he would never like me the way I would him. He would be someone who would destroy me if we ever got into something serious, not only because we work together but because he's...him. But the way he's looking at me now makes me sober up real quick. He looks almost...angry.

"Sorry," I put my hand up trying to ward off his anger, "I just thought that was a bit funny."

His eyebrow quirks up as he leans back and folds his arms over his bare chest. "What's so funny about me calling you hot?"

"It's just," my mouth opens and closes like a fish as I try to come up with words without sounding pathetic. All I can do is shrug though.

Liam shakes his head, closing his eyes and letting out a breath. "Adds, you're one of my best friends and...God I wish I knew who fucked up your head to make you think differently. Or fuck, I wish you could see yourself the way I do because listen to me when I tell you...," he pauses until I'm staring him in the eyes. "You are hot as fuck." The last words are said with such force that he's making sure he gets his point across.

A small ache forms in my chest and my breath hitches as we stare at one another. I don't know what to say, or how to feel about his words anymore because my entire life I was always called fat. Whether someone meant it in the literal sense or just because they were saying it based on the amount of food I ate, telling me it was a joke but it's always stuck with me. And then when I got into acting and landed this role, particularly, my life blew up in the tabloids, always being compared to my costars and how skinny they are.

The world is cruel but they're downright evil when it comes to addressing a woman's body, especially in the media. I remember seeing some meme's about me turned into a cow or a pig up against Ava when the show decided to put my character with Liam's. A lot of people were happy, especially with out chemistry, but the ones who weren't always speak louder with their viciousness. I got destroyed on social media, even getting tagged in horrible things to the point where I made my account restrictive. Now only people I follow can comment, message or tag me and I rarely go on social media anymore because I just don't want to see what's being said.

So when someone as attractive as Liam, regardless of us being friends, calls me hot, my mind instantly screams that he's lying. I know that that's just my insecurities screaming but I can't help it. He doesn't have to know all of that though so instead I just blink up at him with a small smile and say, "Thank you."

Liam stares at me for a few moments more as if trying to read my mind. Find out everything eating at me. Eventually he just simply says, "You're welcome," and I cringe inside a little, knowing that I just made everything incredibly awkward now.

Clearing my throat I try to break the ice but almost scream when someone knocks on Liam's trailer door. My eyes widen and I stand up so fast I almost fall before scrambling to grab my clothes.

"Hey Liam," Drake one of our costars yells through the door, "You in there?" He bangs a few more times and I trip while stepping into my pants. Liam catches me before I face plant and steadies me before he picks up his sweatpants on the floor.

"Yeah, what's up?" Liam yells back just as I'm throwing my shirt over my head and staring at him with wide cartoon like eyes because What the actual fuck!

The next second Drake opens the door, like I knew he would once Liam addressed him and my heart drops to my feet when Drake steps into the trailer and his eyes widen just slightly before moving between me and Liam. "Shit, sorry, didn't know you had company," he says to Liam noticing the fact that he's not wearing a shirt before looking over at me. "Hey, Addy."

I wave awkwardly, "Hey Drake, we were just watching a movie," I thumb over my shoulder as if he's stupid and can't see the TV right there.

Drake smiles his megawatt smile that always has the girls melting and nods at me as if I'm a cute child. "Mmm, I see that," his tone of voice sounds suggestive and the way he looks back at Liam as he's throwing his shirt over his head says everything I need to know. I let out a deep breath and shake my head, knowing damn well this is going to start shit.

Liam and I hang out often but never shirtless and never where I'm acting like I just got caught with my pants down. Liam saves me from my mini panic attack by saying, "What's up, Drake?"

Drakes smile is still downright evil as he looks over at Liam. "Oh nothing, was just going to see if you wanted to go out with me and the gang to get tacos at Della's when we're done shooting but uh...seems like you guys might already have plans so I'll just tell everyone that you were busy. No biggie."

Liam shakes his head while narrowing his eyes at Drake and I know it's my time to go. "Oh cool, you guys have fun, I'm going to go catch up on my lines and call it a night early." I look over at Liam as I try to squeeze between him and Drake to exit. "Thanks for the movie and helping me through my nerves, I'll see you later, kay?"

Those angry eyes that were just on Drake pierce me before he raises his eyebrow again as if confused as to why I'm trying to flee his trailer. "Yeah, sure."

Just as I'm taking the last step out of Liam's trailer Drake calls behind me. "Hey, Addy?"

I turn my head to look at him. "Yeah?"

Drake's smirk takes up his whole face as he nods toward me, making my cheeks flame. "Your shirts on backwards. Just thought you should know."

My eyes widen slightly before I nod in thanks. There's no doubt my face is the shade of a tomato as I hastily make my way back to my trailer the entire time mumbling, "fuck, fuck, fuck."
