The society without a name, often referred to as the Vatican, named after the location the top leaders reside, Vatican City.
They're the ones who really control the world, they're the ones who keep the peace.
The Vatican has branches all across the world, a minimum of one per country. These branches train certain people to fight off the things the regular governments won't admit exist, demons.
Among these Vatican members there are two classifications, exorcists and callers.
Anyone can become an exorcist with sufficient knowledge, training, and equipment. Exorcists are always different to the individual, some may use swords to fight, while others may use guns, or dispel demons with chants.
Callers are different, you have to be born a caller. Callers can all see spirits from early in their childhood, and callers are potentially dangerous due to their ability to form contracts with demons. Callers can also form special abilities that are impossible to predict, it varies on the individual. The caller gene is hereditary in most cases. Only rarely is a caller born with no caller ancestry.
Exorcists and callers work together in teams of two, one of each class, to perform jobs for money, all managed by the Vatican. It's a way for the people to be safe from the supernatural, after all have you ever seen a ghost?
