Chapter 4

Stella's pov

I wanted to kill him! That idiotic power hungry hybrid! How dare he dagger Elijah and therefore me as well. I wanted to kill right then and there but held back for Elijah's sake. For now anyway...

"You looked suprised to see us. So it wasn't you who removed the dagger from my chest." Elijah stated as he wiped his hands clean.

"...You both look like you could do with a drink and we have a lot to discuss so shall we?" He asked un easy and slightly frightened, turning around to go to the other room however just as he was turning around Elijah threw the bit of cloth away and jumped at his brother, throwing him threw the doors. I grinned. Oh how wonderful it was to watch that. Shame it wasn't me who got to do it. I would have loved to take my anger out at Klaus.

"Easy. I just finished renovating." Klaus told him angrily while getting up. He then blurred over to us and pushed us both over.

"You know, you have every right to be mad at me but I kept my word, I reunited you and your girlfriend with our family." He said as we were getting up. Elijah was faster however and got to his feat before Klaus even saw it and punched Klaus several times while throwing him further back everytime untill he was finally thrown into one of the coffins. Before I could notice, Klaus blurred to another coffin and pulled it open, quickly grabbing a dagger from whoever out of his siblings that was.

"Don't make me do this to you again Elijah." Klaus threatened as he pinned my boyfriend to the coffin Elijah had thrown him into earlier as he held the dagger above his chest. I would of helped but I knew that Elijah could manage on his own so I just sat back and watched.

"Go on! Use it! I dair you! You'll have Kol to deal with." He threatened, smirking slightly. Klaus considered this and loosened his hold on his brother.

"Mikael is dead." He told Elijah more softly. I gasped as the words left his mouth. Mikael was their father who had been hunting Klaus done since they became vampires.

"What did you say?" Elijah asked in desbelief, not sure if his younger brothers words were true and I didn't blame him. It was hard to believe. He straightened up, waiting or Klaus's reply.

"I killed him. With his own weapon. He's gone Elijah, forever." Klaus answered him. Elijah let the words sink in and he looked around at his family's coffins.

"Why do our family remain in these coffins? Finn for 900 years, Kol for over a century." He asked in bewilderment and confusion. He looked so lost. I put my hand into his for support. Klaus sent me a quick apologetic glance before he said his next words.

"Because of Stefan Salvatore. He holds the one thing keeping me from freeing them. There are things that you do not know about our past Elijah. Our mothers death. Things I never wanted you to know but I'm ready to tell you now... I only ask that you remember the oath of loyalty that you once swore to me." He explained as we watches carefully and hesitantly as he dipped the dagger once again in white oak ash.

"What are you doing?" Elijah asked nervously, his voice quieter and much more nervous than his usual loud and controlled voice. Klaus walked towards the coffin and bent down, placing the dagger in his other brother, Kol's chest. I could see Elijah hesitate, contemplating what he should do. If he should let Klaus dagger his youngest brother again. I squeezed his hand in reassurance and he smiled back at me in thanks.

"Always and forever. I need you to stand by my side. Be my brother. Help me destroy Stefan and I promise you our family will be whole again." I gritted my teeth to stop myself from attacking him and this time it was Elijah who had to squeeze my hand in reassurance. Klaus closed the coffin next to us with a huge bang at the same time that Elijah nodded.
