Stella's pov

"Niklaus! Our guests have arrived!" My beloved boyfriend called to Klaus when my brother's finally arrived.

"Damon! Stefan! Elijah tells me you seek an audience. Very bold. Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilized men shall we." Klaus said gesturing to the table where the food was played out as they stepped inside the house. I rolled my eyes at his behaviour and as did Elijah.

"It's better to indulge him." He mumbled to my brothers and I nodded in agreement. Stefan stepped forward and Klaus gave a half grin, half smirk while raising his kinda expression. As Stefan spoke the hybrid raised his eyebrows, challenging him!

"I didn't come here to eat Klaus. In fact, I didn't want to come here at all but I was told I had to, because you would hear us out." He told my boyfriend's brother while looking towards Damon slightly as the words left his mouth, almost mocking him for considering this.

"Hmmm... Well we can sit and eat, or I can reach down your throats and pull out your insides. Choice is yours." He said, a smirk plastered on his face as a girl pulled out a chair for him. He sat down, the smirk not leaving his face and I rolled my eyes at the threat, used to it by now even if it was only recently that I was undaggered.

"Thankyou." Damon said to a girl aafter she poured him some wine. He was sat next to Stefan and me on his other side. I was also next to Elijah who had Klaus on his other side. Stefan looked extremely grouchy and brooding sitting on Klaus's other side as he refused to eat.

"What's the matter Stefan? Lost your appetite?" Klaus asked, mocking him as my brother sulked.

"Eat! I thought we agreed to leave the grumpy Stefan at home." Damon commands him, smiling as I stifled a giggle. I loved it when it was somebody else getting told off rather than me. Stefan faked a smile and reluctantly started eating.

"That's the spirit. This is nice. The five of us dining together. Such a treat. Is this what you had in mind when you undaggered my brother and his fiance?" Klaus asked, turning his attention to my older brother and I cleared daggers at him. How did he know Elijah and I were engaged? We haven't told anybody yet as he proposed a year ago and we both thought it would have to wait a few years before we told our relatives, after all we both had disfunctional relationships with our families. I mean come on! My brother's didn't even remember me and the last time we saw eachother they left me to die! And Elijah's family was heaven worse! Klaus daggered all of them except him and he wanted Klaus dead! It's not like we could just turn up at their doors and say:

"Hey, I'm your sister, I'm a vampire now, I hate you and this is Elijah! Oh, and we''re engaged! Suprise!"

"Hey brother! I know you daggered our siblings and I hate you for it but I would like you to meat Stella, my fiance!"

"Well I know how I felt about you and I really wanted to awake my sister so I figured, the more merrier, right?" My brother replied, mockingly and I sighed, relieved that neither of my brothers had processed the 'fiance' part.

"Well Elijah and I have had our share of quarrels through the centuries but we always make it through and I'm sure Stella's willing to accept me since I am his brother and her soon to be brother in law." Klaus replied without care and once again my brothers completely missed the brother in law part.

"Kind of like you and Rebekah? By the way, how is she? Last I checked she's still daggered because your afraid to face her." Stefan asked, now also smirking.
