The air was cold that morning, and I was nestled in my warm, cozy bed, when I heard the Transponder Snail in my room go off.

"Attention all agents, I want everybody to get out of bed and meet me in my office in ten minutes! I have a special announcement for you all!" Spandam shouted into the microphone. I didn't want to get up, my bed was nice and warm, and it was far too much effort just to get up for some dumb announcement. But I encouraged myself to rise and shine, and soon enough, my Nirvana pajamas with matching slippers were replaced by a black dress and heels.

On my way downstairs, I noticed that Kaku was looking around his room for something. It must have been important, because he was still in his pajamas, I knew then that something was wrong.

"Hey, Kaku, what's going on? Spandam wants to see us downstairs in about ten minutes!" I called out. Kaku seemed relieved to see me, his gaze softened.

"Shouko... "he began "have you seen my hat?" Kaku blushed furiously, and stared down at the ground as he asked me.

"Um, no have you looked in your closet, or maybe in the library?" I asked, relieved that it wasn't anything too serious.

"I looked in my closet, but I didn't look in the library, thanks! " Kaku smiled at me, and went off running toward the library.

"No problem!" I called out, but he was already gone.  Kaku was always a little weird about his hats, he had one for literally every occasion. Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, you name the holiday, he had a hat for it. So, whenever his work hat went missing, he freaked out. Don't even think about telling him to wear a different hat, he'll just give you the look. Nobody wants the look!

When I finally reached Spandam's office, nobody else had yet arrived.

"Shouko! Where are the others?!!" Spandam screeched.

"I have no clue, Chief!" I responded politely.  Spandam looked like he was about to blow a gasket, he was so angry.

Spandam was just about to send me out to look for the others, when I spotted them outside messing around in the snow. It looked like they were making a snowman.

     "Wow," I said smirking.

     "What?" growled Spandam.

"I think I found Kaku's hat...!" And sure enough, there it was, smack dab on top of the snowman's head. A few moments later, Kaku darted outside, and it looked to me like he started laughing.

"Shouko, bring 'em in for me will ya?" asked Spandam grumpily.

"You know Chief" I started, "Why don't you let them stay outside for just a few more minutes."
