When I left Cipher Pol Nine, I was upset about leaving my friends. It was a dream come true when I actually got the job at Dark Abyss. It was a fun job, and I made new friends, but this job wasn't nearly as fun as my old one.
I made yearly visits to the Tower of Justice up until I heard the agents were killed by the Straw hat pirates. I attended my comrades' funerals and mourned for them when their deaths happened. I continued to move onward in my life though, I knew that's what they would've wanted me to do anyway.
Author's note: Friendship is a sacred bond between two or more people, it involves patience, trust, and most importantly dedication. It is important to be there for your friends, and offer advice when they ask for it. I wrote this story to show how that even if a friend leaves to go get a certain job or goes to a different school that they can still remain friends. It is up to you though, to be supportive of your friend's goals and ambitions. That is true friendship. :)
