Douma was grinning, his chest shaking as he held back his chuckle and Akaza raised his hand to smash his face in once more. But with incredible speed, Douma had his newly acquired phone to his ear. Douma looks to his ice clones, bringing a finger to his lips and two cover the mouth of the struggling Kentaro.

A twitch of annoyance came to his brow as he heard the ringing of a phone call and Douma is openly smiling, showing his fangs.

"Kotoha-chan! Hakuji and I are going on a longer walk than expected, we won't be back till later. Tell Koyuki that Hakuji deserves a big kiss when he gets back."

Akaza felt his cheeks redden, his unearthed memories from a time long ago resurging to the front of his mind. Koyuki, she was alive and-

HE WAS GOING TO MARRY HER, DAMNIT!!

Douma ends the call with a purr, promising his own love when he returns. Akaza lets Douma go, enthralled by his thoughts to notice how Douma approached the man which led to him turning back into a demon.

Douma waves to his clones to let the man speak.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!!?" Seems like his jealousy was overshadowed by fear as Douma grins down at him, red taking over his vision.

"Oh~-' Douma brings a hand to his face, tilting back to look at the sky, winter not as strong as it had been at his temple. A furrow of snow was light but it was enchanting to him. ' -I am a devil that tainted an angel."

A purr was loud in his chest, remembering all the intimate moments he had had with his songbird.

His gaze goes blank as he brings his sights on the man who was his love's ex.

"She had told me to be gentle the first time she had me." Akaza wants to gag, not wanting to know his best friend's sex life. Maybe he can make Kotoha blue ball Douma in the future.

"I thought it had been because of her injuries, but now I see it was because of you." Douma grabs Kentaro's head from above, his claws flexing into his skull.
"A pathetic worm that can only ever be in the dirt he was born in while she soars through the sky to the heavens."

He now recognizes that he could have never seen her true potential if he kept her in her cage at his temple. She blossomed more once back home.

Maybe it was him wanting to remain static, never to change to the times.

Oh, he'll have to make amends by being a good house husband to their baby.

A grin comes to his face as he tilts Kentaro's head down, whispering into his ear. Though Akaza would surely hear it if he tried.

"She cries my name each time, declares her love for me." Frost leaves his mouth as a rumble comes to his chest. "Now we are going to have a beautiful child together."

As he pulled back, the man became a bit more familiar to him as the frustration and fear came to a boiling point.

Ah,...another one from his past. It was Kotoha's ex-husband, not just her ex of this era.

Oh, this is going to be more fun.

Douma shoves the man's head down more and spins around.

"Akaza-dono~-!"

"It's Hakuji."

"...."

"-Hakuji~!" Douma then gestures to Kentaro and Hakuji knows where this is going at how thrilled Douma seems to be in the presence of someone in pain.

"It's time for your first meal!" Saliva had unwillingly gathered in his mouth when he smelled blood in the air and he didn't want to think about his hunger.

"He'll make an excellent first meal!" Douma looks back at Kentaro, tapping his chin before grinning his eyes gaining a twinkle. He raises one finger to Hakuji.

"One last thing and I'll leave him to you." Kentaro sees the demon flex his claws before they come down.

His cries echo through the alleyway as Douma draws back, shaking his claws off the bits of flesh that are left. He wipes his talons of blood on Kentaro's clothes. The man was crying, tears reaching the ground in time with drips of crimson that pooled around a piece of flesh.

Douma turns around, walking past Hakuji and patting his shoulder.

"I had to strip him of his pride for what he did to my Kotoha-chan. Sorry if he isn't as tasty without his blood." Blood was draining quickly from where it was pouring from Kentaro's crotch.

Golden eyes narrow at the man, his knuckle cracking as he readies his fist.
"That's fine, I was going to bruise him anyway." Douma laughs and takes one peek back to see Akaza shatter Kentaro's jaw with one punch.

He soon leaps to the rooftop and begins to think.

His poor Kotoha-chan once again came to his temple after such a terrible relationship.

Hakuji would stay on the rooftop as Douma went into a store to get him some new clothes as his other ones had gotten bloody. There wasn't going be a way to save them when there was a stab wound.

Douma jumps back up and begins to explain his new status as a demon, along with other facts.

"You are under me in terms of creators but Muzan-sama has returned to his position. Do you know of the Oni Yakuza? He actually runs it! I turned him in recently and that's why I have money and an ID." Douma was smiling but shock filled Hakuji.

Muzan was alive? He was a demon again? HE RUNS A YAKUZA GANG?!

Douma starts dancing on the edge of the building.

"He says he'll have people for us to consume should we need it. A service." Douma had already dined on a few women in that time when his hunger spiked but he always felt full-on love with Kotoha.

Hakuji groans in frustration, the two demons beginning to make their way back to the Kotoha's apartment.

In a sewer ditch, the scraps of Kentaro began to be munched on by rats.

Right as Douma made mentioned that the kick to the balls actually hurt even a demon that he snaps his fingers.

"Ah, Hakuji-dono, one last thing, the slayers are still around and some demons may come to try and kill me for my immunity to the sun."

It was lucky they were still on the rooftops for no one saw how Hakuji punched Douma's jaw off for forgetting to acknowledge that piece of information.

When they do come back, Douma hugs Kotoha immediately and Hakuji has a moment to change his colors back to human before rounding the corner.

The moment Koyuki embraced him, he couldn't help but make a note of how nice she smelled.

He can see why Douma is always so close to Kotoha.
