Oh how excited I was! I can now swim at the same speed as Rowan, and I moved so much more fluidly. I had no idea where I was going I just had to swim. Rowan was not to far behind, he was enjoying watching me have fun. Once we got out of the castle I quickly rushed towards him giving him a big embrace. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me.

So how do you like your new tail?

Oh Rowan, I love it! Best gift ever. I leaned in to kiss him, and he kissed me back so deeply. My hands wrapped the back of his neck, as he held me tighter to his body. I pulled back a little out of breathe.

Rowan whispered. Milah, I love you.

My heart jumped in excitement. I love you too Alister, with my whole heart.

He placed a soft kiss on my lips. Then grabbed my hand. Let's go. I need to take you home.

Two weeks have passed since that day, and together me and Rowan continued our adventures, except so much more because I was just like him, able to go where ever no matter how deep into the sea.

We stopped meeting only at sundown and instead met earlier since we could both hide deep underwater now. I gotta admit though Cordelia was much more beautiful at night with all the glowing lights.

It was the middle of the day and I was already heading towards our cove to meet with Rowan, and I noticed someone walking towards me. Once I realized who it was, I froze stopped in my tracks. It was Rowan!! He walked the rest of the way towards me, and smiled nervously.

"Hey."

No way. Was all I could think. It can't be. After the shock wore off, for some reason my eyes teared up and I hugged him, closing my eyes as the tears trailed down my face. Oh how King Curren had such a big heart was unbelievable.

Rowan pulled away still holding my in his arms. He wiped the tears from my cheek.

"Why are you crying? I thought you'd be happy." He looked at me worriedly.

"Of course I am, that's why I'm crying. There tears of joy. We really need to thank King Curren in a big way."

He let out a laugh. "Tell me about it."

"So what happened? Why do you have legs?" We started to walk towards the cove together holding hands.

"Remember the reason I introduced my self to you was because of my curiousness towards humans?"

"Yeah"

"Well when I got to know you and you told me all about your world, it was enough to quench my curiosity. But then I started to wonder how it would me like to be on land. And have you show me around this time." He laughed. "I told King Curren this and he understood. So here I am."

"Well then what are we doing heading towards the cove." I stopped and started pulling him towards the pier. "Come on, let me show you around this time. After all, it's what you wanted right?"
~~~
We spent the rest of the day on the pier. It was fun watching Rowan try human food for the first time. He wasn't to fond of hot dogs but he sure did love sweets. The rides were definitely the best he was terrified, but having fun too. We were currently at the end of the pier looking out towards the sea.
"You're going to have loads of fun, believe me this is nothing compared to all the other things we can do." I smiled at the thought. "I can't wait to take you to amusement parks, there far more better."
"I can't believe you can top the amount of fun I had here. I'm exhausted."
"Don't worry I'll show you around slowly, we have all the time in the world."
We walked back to the cove later that night and said our goodbyes.
"I can't wait for tomorrow. I had lots of fun today Milah." He leaned in for a kiss.
"Goodnight. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Sleep well."
I watched him walk into the cold sea. When the water was waist high he turned around smiled then dived in.
Underneath the water I could see the blue-green glow of his tail as it started to fade deeper into the water.
