We made quite a long journey, not really going deeper in the sea but rather farther out to sea while descending slowly. Rowan didn't let go of my hand the whole trip, he was guiding me but because I really couldn't swim at his speed, he mostly was dragging me.

By the time we started going deeper underwater, I started to worry about the water pressure increasing. Water Breathers had an amazing ability to talk telepathically. I remember the first time he spoke in my mind, it totally freaked me out, so I tapped Rowan's shoulder and when he looked at me I pointed to my head to let him know I wanted to say something, and I thought to him, What if the water pressure increases and it crushes me?

Don't worry Milah, Cordelia isn't really that deep it's just well hidden. You'll see what I mean in a minute.

You mean were almost there! I started to get nervous.

Yup. You see that cave right there. He was pointing at it, and it was only a couple of feet away. The entrance was hard to see and hidden by seaweed and coral, well of what I could tell. The only light I had was the little white light attached to my breathing mask and Rowan's glowing tail.

Well we're going to enter it, then go through the long tunnel, and at the end of the tunnel we'll be arriving to my dear home of Cordelia. He smiled at the thought.

We started to enter the tunnel's entrance and I swam a little closer to Rowan, afraid of what might be lurking in these dark waters. I guess he noticed cause he looked at me and a small smile grew on his face while he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him as we swam.

I put one of my arms around his neck my heart warmed knowing that he's here for me, even when I'm scared. I never had anyone like him before. I trust him with my life and brings nothing but joy into my life. He is the only person or thing in my life that I look forward to seeing. Oh my...I love him!

My goodness this is making me feel a bit queasy. I always knew I cared deeply for him, but I never realized how much I truly loved him. Aww shoot! He can read minds! Ahh! I felt my face get warm, not daring to look at him I kept my gaze towards the end of the tunnel.

I don't know why I felt so embarrassed, it's just weird to love someone while your left clueless as to wether they loved you. I just hoped and prayed he wasn't reading my thoughts at the time.

He made no impression that he did hear my thoughts, so I just let it go for now focusing on what ever I could see. Then I started to notice a faint glow down the tunnel, I looked at Rowan catching his eye I pointed to my head again. Maybe he really hasn't heard my previous thoughts.

Where's that glow coming from? I thought to him pointing at the direction it came from.

He smiled mischievously. You'll see very soon.

I didn't know what to expect. Soon enough the glow got brighter and as we swam out of the tunnel I was breathless at what I saw. Rowan let his arm around me go and I let go of him, putting my hands over my mouth in awe. Oh how beautiful Cordelia was its no wonder the beings from this kingdom were just as breathtaking. The source of the light was the kingdom itself. It was a white palace with a coral texture that lightly glowed somehow, lighting up everything around me. I felt Rowan staring at me, probably enjoying my reaction.

There were jellyfish floating all around the place with lights on them that danced and flashed from color to color in different patterns. The fish also glowed of beautiful neon colors. There were also many Water Breathers swimming about with different colored tails with a glow that matched their color. Cordelia was wonderfully decorated with many things from the sea.

I turned to face Rowan still speechless of the possibility of such a place. He embraced me and kissed the top of my head.

Beautiful isn't it?

Oh my gosh I can't believe you get to call this place your home! My goodness it's so beautiful almost unbelievable.

Well believe it cause it's definitely real. Come on. Time to meet the king. He grabbed my hand leading me towards the kingdom.

Oh dear... I allowed him to guide me, swimming by his side I felt nervous again.
