Dear diary,

There was another gallery showing last night, and one of my paper mâché creations was featured. I saw a weaving there that I loved, and I think that I'll try a little bit of weaving when I can, just to try something a little bit different. That's important, isn't it?

The next Paper Hand production is coming along nicely. I get the part of one of the mice, and I can't wait to sniff around and make little kids laugh in a mouse suit. If only past me could see me now. Excited to be in a mouse suit.

In my defense, it's actually really comfortable.

One of my neighbors found a stray kitten, and my parents let me keep it. I've named it Mittens, and Mittens is a hippie cat. I don't know how I know, I just do. Mittens and Kimberly, the hippies. That might be the weirdest thing that I've ever written in these pages.

Who am I kidding. No it isn't. Remember last year and the caterpillar I adopted and tried to make into a cheerleader?

I'm so weird. How was I ever that popular girl that the cheerleader wannabes wanted to be?

I'm not anymore, and somehow that doesn't bother me.

I think it's my new hippie acceptance.

Oh, speaking of which! Tim says I need to have a hippie coronation, with the others. It's like getting married, but hippie-artsy-circus-papier-mâché and just with friends.

I really am one of them.

Kimberly
