Emerson's POV

The 12 o'clock bell finally rings, telling us that it's lunch time. I smile and grab my binders and purse and practically run to my locker.

I'm putting my books in my locker when somebody's hands cover my eyes. I giggle and grab his wrists. I turn around to see a smiling Ashton.

"How'd you know it was me?" He asks, "Like I could have been a killer and you would have just giggled as your last words." He smiles.

I shut my locker, "yeah well you're the only one that wears aftershave that smells that good so." I smile and kiss him cheek.

He laughs and grabs my hand, "Okay so I want to properly meet your friends so I brought us some food to just eat here. Is that okay?"

I smile, "of course that's okay."

He smiles and leads me out to his car. "Okay. I left the food out here just in case you didn't want too. Anyway I got you Chinese food. Plus some tea from Starbucks for you and Macy. " he says and grabs all the food and hands me my tea.

"You didn't have to do all this." I smile and kiss him. He wraps an arm around my waist and kisses me back. He smiles and pulls away.

"I think we should take this to go and just do that for an hour and a half." He winks and laughs.

I giggle and grab my tea. "Come on before they all freak." I start walking back into the school with Ashton behind me.

Ashton and I made our way down the hallway. I see Mikey at his locker. He looks at me and Ashton.

"Don't worry about it Em." Ashton puts a hand on my lower back and leads me into the cafeteria. We walk over to our table. Luke and Macy are already sitting down. Luke has a coke and a bag of chips and Macy is picking around in her salad. Calum is sitting at the end, eating a burger and drinking a Coke.

"This is bullshit food." Macy rolls her eyes.

"Hey guys." I say and sit in front of Macy. Ashton sits beside me, facing Luke.

Ashton hands Macy her tea, "I got Emerson one and I knew you drank it to so I just picked one up for you."

Macy grabs it from him, "oh my God you're a life saver."

Ashton laughs and looks at Luke, "what's up mate?"

"Nothing." Luke looks over at Macy and smiles.

I grab Ashton's hand and just about that time, Mikey sits down beside Calum.

"Okay so what's up with the new guys from England?" Luke asks. I see Macy tense slightly.

"They're pretty cool. Macy and me met them at the coffee shop yesterday." I say and take a drink of my tea. Mikey looks at Ashton and then to me.

I see Kade walk into the cafeteria and I wave him over. He smiles and sits on the other side of me.

"Guys this is Kade." I say.

"What's up." Calum says and Luke waves.

"Where's Wesley?" Macy asks. I look over at her and raise an eyebrow.

"Who's Wesley?" Luke asks and looks at her.

She turns red and drinks some tea, "he's Kade's cousin." She says.

Ashton hands me my box of Chinese and I smile. "Thanks."

He kisses my forehead, "you're welcome."
