Luke's POV

Running hasn't ever been a problem for me. It relaxes me actually. It's never been hard to run a mile or two or three. But walking up those stairs to Macy's room might have been the hardest journey I've taken.

I reach her door after what seems like forever. I crack open the door to see her laying on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

I walk into the room and shut the door. She doesn't even look away, she just stares at the ceiling.

I go and lay beside her. "It's a nice ceiling I think personally." I say, trying to make a joke.

She doesn't even crack a smile.

I sigh, "Babe look at me." She flicks her eyes over to me quickly.

"I'm not mad at you. I'm not," I run my hands through my hair, "I'm just sad. I figured this would bring us closer and set our relationship because.." I cut my sentence off and just look away.

"Set our relationship? Did you just assume we wouldn't make it? What the hell Luke?" Macy gets off the bed and walks toward her bathroom.

"Macy that's not what I'm saying. I just figured, I don't even know okay." I sigh.

"Whatever Luke. I don't care." She rolls her eyes and grabs some medicine out of her bathroom cabinet.

"Don't act like this is my fault." I mumble.

"So you're saying it's my fault?" She pops her head around the cabinet door.

"No, it's not anybody's-"

"No that's what you're thinking isn't it?" She slams the cabinet door shut. "That's what you're all thinking, that it's my fault!" She yells at me.

"Macy, nobody thinks it's you're fault-"

She walks over to me and starts hitting my chest. "It's not my fault! I didn't do this!" She screams with tears running down her face.

I grab her hands and pull her to me. "Stop, it's not your fault." I say softly, tearing up.

She wraps her arms around me, "I'm sorry." She cries into my chest.

I rub her back, "It's okay."

She sniffs and let's me hold her, but not long enough. She pulls away and walks toward her bathroom. She goes back to the cabinet and gets a glass, fills it with water and takes whatever medicine she got out.

"Luke you need to leave." She mumbles softly, looking at the glass in her hand.

"What? Why?" I walk toward her.

"I just want to be alone please? My head hurts." She shuts the bathroom door right when I get to it.

"Macy, open the door." I knock.

"What part of alone don't you understand, Luke. Just leave." She says through the door.

I shake my head, even though she can't see me. "Text me later, okay?"

No response.

"I love you." I say.

Again, no response.

I sigh and start walking out of her room. I get downstairs and open her front door.

Driving out of her driveway, I decided to go see Ashton and Emerson. Since Emerson was there when we got the news. Plus I haven't seen them since all the stuff with Nick.

I turn on to Ashton's road and I notice a black car being driven by Wesley. Honestly I had forgotten about him and his cousin. I totally meant to hit him but I have way bigger problems  at this point. I wish I could just go back in time and fix everything before it all happened.
