Chapter 14

Ashton's POV

Kissing the girl of my dreams is amazing. She's perfect. She has honestly came into my life and changed everything. Who has made me want to change everything. Only if she knew. Only if she knew honestly how horrible I really am. I hope she never does. She's such an amazing girl. I don't want to hurt her.

"I should probably get a shower." Emerson says to me, after our kiss. I nod and she goes into the bathroom. I walk over and lay on the bed. Out of nowhere I hear a giggle and then a slapping noise and smile to myself.

*ding ding*

I look at my phone and see it. The number I wish I could escape.

iMessage: this isn't a game

I text back: I don't want to be apart of this anymore. Neither of us do. Leave us alone Nick.

I run a hand through my hair and breathe out.

iMessage from: Nick
It's too late for that Irwin. You both know to much now. Either you stay, or you'll regret it.

I hear the door of the bathroom open but I don't look up. Then I hear her step out the bathroom only wearing a towel. My eyes travel down her body before I think about it.

"I left my clothes." She says quietly and starts walking over to her bag.

"Okay, I won't peak." I say and pretend to look down at my phone. She bends down and I can see straight up her towel. It doesn't last long, she stands up, catching me looking. I quickly look back down at my phone.

iMessage from: Nick
I'm not messing around.

iMessage to: Nick
I'm out Nick. He wants out too. This isn't what we want anymore. We have other important things.

"Hey Ash?" I hear Emerson say.

"Hmm?" I ask, not looking up. I don't want to be catch staring again.

iMessage from: Nick
Macy and Emerson right?

He wouldn't. How does he already know about Emerson? I clench my teeth.

iMessage to: Nick
I swear to God if you touch either of them.  

"I hope you don't mind but it's really hot in the bathroom and I hate changing into clothes when it's stuffy, so close your eyes, I'm changing in here." She tells me. I stare at her with wide eyes. This girl... Wait did she just get my shirt?

I cover my eyes and wait. I hear the towel drop and I can't help myself, I move my hands away from my eyes and stare at her butt, she hasn't put her bra on yet so I can see all of her back. I watch her put her bra on and her slip my shirt on. After that, I cover my eyes back up.

"Okay, you can open them." She says and i move my hands. I look down at my shorts and you can see my bulge. I stand up and grab my bag, trying to hide it.

"I'm gonna get a shower now." I say and quickly go into the bathroom. I hope she didn't notice it. I turn the shower on and jump in. I start washing my hair. I hope Nick realizes me and Luke don't want to be apart of this anymore. It's hurting the people around us. I can't have Emerson getting hurt. I can't. I'll do anything to protect her.

Emerson's POV

After Ashton gets out the shower, he comes and lays beside me. He pulls me close to him.

"Emerson?" He whispers into my hair.

"Yes?" I whisper back. My head on his chest.

"I know it's only been a couple of weeks since we've met but I feel really close to you. I trust you a lot. I lov- I like you a lot and I just want you safe." He whispers and pulls me closer to him.

I lean up and kiss him softly. He runs his hand through my hair and I sigh. I pull away and look at him. "Ashton I'm safe with you. I trust you too and I feel like even though it's been a couple of weeks, that it's been longer. It's been the best weeks of my life Ash. I wouldn't trade it for anything." I whisper and lay my head back on his chest.

I start to fall asleep but right before I do, I hear Ashton whisper. "I'm in love with you Emerson Blair."
