𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇, the daughter of the progenitor of demons finally returns home. With a heart black as night and a voice as alluring as a siren's, she only has one goal: To finish what she failed to do 300 years earlier.
All the while, failing to not...

THE MEMORY LINGERED IN HER MIND, the betrayal by everyone she knew, that drove her to insanity those 300 years ago. Time did not heal wounds. It only hid hers under the veil of eventual amnesia. If anything, time changes people. It changed her.
Perhaps Asuna should've been grateful that everything had gone so smoothly ever since then. Once let out of that terribly bleak prison, she had successfully destroyed every trace of the blue spider lily that her father had been oh-so-obsessively searching for.
Along with that, she had used it to create her own wonder drug in the process. It was no mere coincidence that she was able to stand under the sunlight. Sure, she had a better tolerance due to her half-human side, but with the effect of the blue spider lily extract that she had been drinking, she was able to stand fully in the sun for an hour at a time.
It was no cure, she knew. But it allowed her to achieve her goals swiftly.
And finally, after all this time, her father had blown his last screw and targeted the Ubuyashiki family directly. After ordering her to wait patiently in her room until further notice, he waltzed right into the demon slayer corps' own trap.
Watching through the scarlet hairpins that she had conveniently placed around the Ubuyashiki mansion, she watched as the whole place was suddenly blown to smithereens.
The impact sent the surrounding trees and several of her hairpins flying. With the few still standing, she was able to watch as her father was sent flying yards away. His body had been utterly charred and almost completely destroyed.
But he wasn't dead, not in the slightest. Still, the demoness couldn't help but laugh at his terrible predicament. After having spoken with the leader of the demon slayers himself, she knew there was no limit to the lengths he would go to kill her father.
The next attack came as a surprise to her. There standing in the rubble with her hand impaled into her father was the very woman she despised.
"Ha. There she is," she muttered, head tilting curiously, "Tamayo."
If she was there then it meant that her father was most probably in a more compromisable position. He would never allow himself to remain in that spot, but if he were suddenly paralyzed, then that would explain the situation unfolding before her eyes.
"HIMEJIMA! NOW!"
Out of the corner, she was met with the sight of a muscular male wielding a ball and chain that appeared amidst the fire. His steps were heavy with intent to kill. This must've been the revered Stone Hashira. His body was clearly honed to the hilt and his fighting spirit was like no other.
His spiked ball immediately destroyed the progenitor's head, effectively beheading him in the process. What would've worked against practically any demon would not work on him. His immediate regeneration was inevitable.
