I just realized that I made a mistake in what I believe is ch 48, when the invasion began, it was sound ninjas that where next to Kabuto and not sand ninjas that was my mistake. For that I do apologize.
I do apologize for going missing, but college is final done and I have about like 3 weeks before summer classes starts.

"You got an idea, right?" I asked Shikamaru to which he nodded.
"I do, but it all depends on how we pull it off. One mistake and it's over, but I'm kind of glad that you're here." He spoke.
"Awwww, that's like the nicest thing you've said to me." I giggled.
"On second thought, maybe you should go back to the others" Shikamaru rolled his eyes.

"Listen the enemy is coming up fast" Pakkun revealed to Sakura and Naruto.
"What?!"
"I wonder if they're even trying back there" Pakkun said making Sakura gasp and remembering how Shikamaru said he didn't want to be on this mission in the first place.
"No, don't tell me—Shikamaru—"
"Shikamaru will be just fine, got it?" Naruto said.
"Don't tell me that he just ran away and left Aki all by herself." Sakura voice her doubt about Shikamaru.
"Look, I said he'd be okay, and I meant it. He isn't someone to do something like that." Naruto fired back.
"How do you know?"
"He's lazy, and he's always complaining about everything, but he would never betray us." Naruto said. "I know he hardly ever volunteers to do anything himself, but if he says he's going to do it, then he'll do it and that's for sure."
"Pick up the pace, slackers." Pakkun said.

Shikamaru sighed underneath the shade he sat down in.
"I can't believe we managed to get away." He spoke.
"You really need to improve your self-esteem, my guy." I told him. "Incoming"
The sound ninjas were here.
From where we hid, we spied on the sound ninjas that where now looking at the fake footprints that we had made in the short amount of time that we had.
"Their footprints are irregular." One of the sound ninjas said. "Anxiety is probably increasing their fatigue."
"Huh?"
And just like that they had been captured by Shikamaru shadow jutsu.
"Oops! Sorry. I was supposed to be the guy who didn't want to get involved." He joked.
"And look at you know, getting all involved." I giggled before turning on my Byakugan and spotting where the ninth one was hiding.
'Found you."
"Anyways, I've got things to do, so I'm a leave this to you. K?" I saluted him before using wind style on my feet to fasten my escape.
