In another world, a world of hills and mounds, there was a fortress. There were tents and huts, and canopies leading up to a giant stronghold made of special metal. There were many rebels, men, women, creatures, including dragons and tiny people who rode dragonflies.
Lord Asriel and his daemon Stelmaria were inside, looking over maps. A coloured man entered. "King Ogonwe,".
"Our allies are spreading, and Xaphania has sent out more angels to search for Baruch and Balthamos,".
"Good,".
Ogonwe looked at some papers on the table. He saw some pictures of special people riding elephant creatures. "Who may I ask are these folks?".
"The Dust Seers. They have the natural ability to control dust. They live simple lives and they do not use technology to do it,".
"Do you seek them to join our fight?".
They would not approve of how I have manipulated Dust for our war. Especially after how I created a gateway from my world. They may oppose the Authority like we do, but they will not follow us on how we will defeat him,".
"Asriel!" The witch Ruta Skardi came rushing inside. "Angels are fighting above the camp," Instantly, they rushed outside and spotted dozens of orange ones clashing in aerial combat against a single silver angel.
"They are fighting. That silver one must be either Baruch or Balthamos. Someone go up and help him,".
"On it,". A long serpentine dragon of gold with a lion's mane, a pointy head horn but no wings shot into the sky, breathing out fire that matched her colour and burnt the arch angels to ash. More dragons shot up, too, taking out more angels, but they were too late. The rebel angel was plunging to his death. Quickly, the Alpha scooped him in her paws whilst her fellow dragons captured his attacker.
"Zhibei. Place him gently down,". Xaphania ordered. The dragon obeyed, and she knelt before ... "Oh Baruch," He had a grave wound in his back.
Asriel eyed the angel Alabrus being held tightly by the dragons. He was pinned to the ground to ensure he couldn't escape. "Take him to the intercession field chamber,". Whilst the angel was still weakened from his previous fight, and too weak to fly, his men quickly took him from the dragons and dragged him way into the fortress.
Baruch was slipping. Xaphania took his hand. "Just hold on, Baruch. You're here now,".
"I found her,"
"Found who?".
"Melanie's ... Melanie's daughter,". Xaphania was quiet. She hadn't heard anything from Melanie in years. "She had a daughter with a human. Alabrus tried to capture her for Metatron, but I saved her with the Bearer,".
"The Bearer?" Asriel became intrigued. "The Bearer of What?".
"What is her name?" Xaphania asked her loyal ally.
"(Y/N). (Y/N) Scoresby,"
Asriel was shocked. Lyra's friend (Y/N) was half-angel, half-human. "A half-angel child?" Ogonwe was more surprised than he was.
"The Bearer is a boy named William Parry. They are trying to reach Lyra,". Baruch continued, wheezing with her slow heartbeat he had remaining.
"Lyra," Asriel hadn't thought of that name in weeks.
"And a boy named (M/C) Lionheart. A Dust-Seer. The most powerful to have ever been born. He can destroy angels like the knife can. All of them are the ones,". Baruch began to fade. "The ones we have been waiting for,".
Xaphania's voice shrivelled. "He's leaving us,".
"Find them. An angel is with them. My Balthamos,". Those were his last words.
