And here's another chapter of this story. I hope you all enjoy it.

The ghost of Charles Latrum, also known as Carlo Boreal, walked into the caverned wasteland from which the ghosts had been flocking out like birds. And in the fog, he heard distant growling. He ventured further in, and once he made it through, he found exactly what he was looking for. A blinded dragon, grieving in pain. But the moment he came close, the dragon's nostrils moved, and he growled, smelling Latrum in front of him.
"There is no need to kill me. I am already dead,".
"I know. But why are you here?".
"Your mother is dead," he said simply. "Those children killed her,".
"I know," Lucirin snarled. "I heard her roar in pain,".
"I take it those children outwitted you?". Latrum's arrogant question only angered the dragon more.
"Don't you dare say that to me. Not when I want blood. I want to eat that winged freak who blinded me,".
"I know exactly who you speak of," Lantrum answered calmly, still unafraid of his monstrous appearance despite his scarred eyes.
"And I want blood for my mother,".
"And I can ensure you get it. One of those children has something that belongs to me. Allow me to ride you and be your eyes, and I can take you to where they're going and we both win,".
"Where are they going?".
"They are going to the top of the mountains to open a window and release the ghosts,".
"No!" the dragon roared. "They cannot do that,".
"Then we must stop them. So...do we have a deal?". Although the Devil's Heir was blind, Latrum pulled up a wicked smirk. Since the moment he saw those children from the shadows, he had wanted nothing more than to take revenge on the four who managed to outwit him.

On their way upwards, (Y/N) was looking at the special sword. For a moment, the golden blade was shimmering in the darkness. Then, after a simple wave, the blade retracted into his handle. Her friends were surprised. "How'd you do that?" Lyra asked.
"I don't know. I was just thinking about the sword, how it works, and then it just disappeared,".
"Try again," Will encouraged. (Y/N) closed her eyes, inhaled deeply. The blade appeared again.
"Impressive," (M/C) said.
"You never cease to amaze me," said Lee proudly.

Iorek and Iera were marching across bumpy, melted ice land. It had felt like days since they parted from the children and the Mulefa Riders. "No matter where we go, food doesn't thrive," Iorek vented.
"Asriel is lucky he isn't here or I'd tear him apart." Iera suddenly stopped and started breathing heavily.
"Iera," Iorek came to her. "Are you alright?".
"I'm fine, my love. I'm just tired all of a sudden. Suddenly,".
Before Iorek could inquire further, one of their bear soldiers roared. Iorek bounded over to the edge of some rocks. His ears ruffled. "Something is coming towards us,".
