My head is spinning.

I'd like for it to stop but it can. All I can think about is Rhiannon. Her smell, her lips, her taste__ oh my God she tasted so sweet. I want to kiss her again, and again, and again, every day for the rest of my life. I want her to be mine, for all eternity. Fuck everything else!

I'm going to lose my mind. My head feels like it is literally spinning plus Crystal Mills is walking beside me, yapping a million words per minute. I liked her a lot better when she regarded everyone unenthusiastically with dead silence. We hung out for like five minutes at Heather's party and now she thinks we're best pals. Doesn't she have something better to do, like painting her eyes darker to match her soul?

"I don't get it, Ethan. I honestly don't." she says. "She's screwing a guy one minute, hurting your feelings and the next minute she's slobbering all over you. Is this what you like? Is it what you want? I thought you were an intellectual." She continues. "You lose brain cells just being around girls like that, kissing them is a whole different story, dude. One day you'll find yourself completely clueless and empty just like them. Is that the type of person you want to be, Ethan? Huh, do you want to be empty?"

"SHUT-UP!" I scream utilizing all the air from my lungs. She cocks her head a little to the right and gasp at the sound of my tone. "Leave me alone, Crystal. Just. Leave. Me. Be."

She takes a step towards me and I immediately hold my hands in front of her to stop her. She's staring at me, wide eyed with shock but I think she gets it. I take a few steps backing away from her, when she makes no attempt to continue following me I practically sprint out of her sight.

I head to the lunchroom to find Aaron and Matt but when I get there to our usual spot they're not there. I run back outside hoping to find Rhiannon. She fled so fast after crystal interrupted our moment I didn't have a chance to talk to her so once again I find myself on a quest for Rhiannon. I'm scouring the court yard looking for her. I'm moving past people__ more like moving through them like malleable flesh and out of all the people there I have to bump into none other than the Queen Cu_t herself.

"Clara," I pant. I must admit I'm a little scared. She's got her hands all on her hips which is kind of an intimidating pose. She's looking at me as if I'm nothing.

"Excuse me," her lips curl upward in the way they do as if she's about to spew venom all over you. "Did I give you permission to exist?"

"Ummmm." I'm actually thinking of an answer. I have to be super wise here. I'm standing here all alone, granted she's alone too, but I know at any given second, if I say the wrong thing she can easily summon her coven of bitches to vanquish me. "No," I answer and with that I disappear out of her sight. The bell rings soon after that and I head to class.

The afternoon doesn't move fast enough. The usual fifty minutes classes seems to last an eternity. During Creative Writing, Crystal stared at me the entire time, both Kylie and Colin stared at Crystal while I stared at the window. It was a whole lot of staring going on.

After class ends Colin approaches me in this unfriendly manner.

"What's up man, Crystal couldn't keep her eyes off you the whole class period."

"I dunno," I shrug uncaringly.

He didn't say anything else but he might as well has. His eyes were pure green with envy. The last thing I need is for this girl to impose a threat on my friendship with Colin. I don't want her and I'll never will.
