As Beldina opened her eyes she quickly shut them back, the sun was streaming in through the open curtains in her bedroom, which in actual fact Beldina should be happy about because it meant the sun had actually came out, she puffed out her cheeks and threw a slim pale arm over her eyes, she groaned, and turned to face the door, she could already hear her father in the kitchen singing to some song on the radio, and she just had to smile, her full lips stretched over white small teeth as she pulled away her arm and opened her eyes, green eyes looked lazily at the closed door, cursing under her breath she jumped out of bed, Beldina shook her head and made for her private bathroom, turning on the hot water she quickly slipped out of her night garments and stepped into the hot stream of water, she quickly showered as she hummed the tune her father had been humming a few minutes ago, she stopped than laughed at herself, turning off the water and stepping out, she reached for the towel and started to dry off her dark curly hair, she stood before the mirror looking at herself, and she sighed, she was a slim girl with the most extraordinary eyes, green but emerald green, everyone liked her eyes, and her skin was so pale, with the elegance of a would be princess, she had a petite nose and succulent mouth, her hair was always falling down around her shoulders in curls, and her frame was of liking to most of the guys at school, but Beldina didn't really think she was that pretty, different she could say that about herself, but not beautiful, not like Jana her friend, or Sammy, they were pretty, all the guys really went for them, where as Beldina never seemed to pull the right guys, huffing again in frustration, she wrapped the towel around herself and stepped out of the steamy bath to her bedroom.

Beldina had pulled on her skinny jeans and a cropped top, she tied a sash around her head and applied some mascara, pinched her cheeks and smiled, yeah she looked alight for the morning breakfast table, humming as she made her way down the narrow stairs to their small kitchen, Beldina found her father in the kitchen just serving up some eggs and bacon, he smiled and his beautiful green eyes twinkled, Beldina knew that half the woman in Bridgewater was after him, but her father had never remarried or even gone with a another woman after her mother had passed away many years ago, he just never wanted it, Beldina smiled widely at her father, he wiggled his brows, "What's got ya kid." he joked as he placed the plates down onto the counter and turning his back to make them some tea, Beldina grinned stupidly, her father was one of those dads that was unbelievable, he had looked out for her, cared for her, and still paid her way, he was always home once work was over and he never dated, he was her everything and she really didn't think she could do without him, he was her anchor in so many ways. Once her father sat down beside her they tucked into their hearty breakfast, "So what's on for today, Bel?" Her father asked in his deep baritone, Beldina pushed another piece of bacon into her mouth before answering, "Oh I think I will go and meet up with the girls, I have late shift tonight at the theatre dad." Beldina knew her mother didn't really like her working at the theatre but Beldina had been there for three years, and the pay was good, because of the late shifts, she enjoyed the varied  customers and she liked her boss, Jimmy he was so kind that she just couldn't quit yet, she needed to let him know at least three months before, he needed to find someone else, she couldn't leave him stranded, her father sighed, "Well I don't really like you working there but since its been three years I don't think me doing the talk will change anything, so ok be careful, have fun with your friends, and I also put a little cash into your account, just in case you might need it." Beldina stopped eating and turned to her father, they were not one of the richest of families, and they had been struggling to pay off the mortgage on the house for years, she had been working and she hated taking money from him, he was paying for Uni and it wasn't easy.

"Dad I dont need any money, I told you before, and I can actually contribute to my Uni this term which I am glad to say that I am proud of." this time her father stopped eating, "Now look here Bels, I don't want you to stop having a life so that you can help me, we will get by as we have for the last ten years, I don't want your help, get out meet a guy and enjoy yourself." Beldina made a face, she picked up their nearly empty plates and started to dispose of them, her father made a strangled noise, Beldina turned and gave him a stare, "Dad you have blood pressure and cholesterol, and this breakfast was more like a meal, I think it was enough." Her father gave her a cynical look. "Yeah but I hadnt really finished, and I still haven't changed my mind about your money." Once the dishes were done and she turned she noticed her father had risen with his mug in his hand, he was a tall guy, not really big, but none the less threatening, he looked after himself as in running every morning, but he worked much too much down at the local bank, he never seemed to have any days off, and he always volunteered to do overtime, the money was good.
