Evel took a step forward before taking a glance at his back to his brother, Nath.

"I won't believe anything until it was proven. I just have to wait a little longer. She'll come, I know she will," Evel said, his voice almost breaking in every word.

She promised.

"What if she doesn't?" Nath asked, with concern in his eyes he met his brother's gaze, "Brother, it has been a year and we have no clues about her whereabouts nor news if she really did survive."

Silent crept and Evel knows how dreading it is for him to think about the days where he did nothing but wait for something of no assurance. Despite using all his connections for the investigation, there was not a single news.

The younger vampire took a deep breath, trying to hold back his tears. His heart ached - the heart of which he thought is useless by being a vampire.

"I'll wait.. even if it takes forever."
