CHAPTER EIGHT

URGH! I really want to pound him into pieces, put it in a jar then throw the jar to the deepest part of the ocean.

I marched through the corridor. Pissed. I don't care if they will keep on staring at me. Mind their own business.

I continued walking heading to the Student Council's room. He's there..

I clenched my fist. I really want to bury his face into that wall.

"Where's Lina?" I asked Raven just the time I saw him. He turned around then looked left and right. He faced me with a wondering look.

"Wow! You're talking to me, right?" Pointing at himself, he sounded confused.

"Well yeah, that's what I'm doing," Weird. Is there something wrong?

"Ohh sorry, I was just surprised that you actually talked to me."

"Ahh.." that's the only word I managed to utter. Like, didn't I talk to him yesterday? Andd.. earlier?

"Lina's inside," he said then opened the door, he used some hand signs then Lina went out. One word-awesome. You get to learn hand signs in this council.

"Thanks, Kathy" she said when I gave her the food I brought her.

"You wouldn't mind taking those, right?" I chuckled, "Sorry, I forgot to ask you what would I buy, so.. I just picked for you."

"It's okay," she said while waving her hands. I looked at Evel and Raven, they seemed to have a happy conversation but that vampire's mouth wouldn't even bother curving to form a genuine smile nor laugh, he knows how to smirk but he doesn't even smile. What a weird guy.

"Stop calling me weird or you'll be dead," he said. But.. huh? I didn't even see his mouth move. He talked through my mind? "So you're checking on me."

"The hell?" I muttered as I felt my face heat up. Raven and Lina looked at me.

"K-Kathy?" Lina asked curiously. If I tell them Evel just talked back at me and they find it weird that they didn't hear him say anything about me, I'd embarrass myself. I would rather get out of this place.

"I'm going to go. See yahh," I waved off her hand then walked past them. I gave them a one last look and they were like having a three-way glance. Okay~ Things got weirder.

I looked back at Evel. Hmm. He did say something.

Fourth class ended, means its dismissal time. I have 2 days to rest my head. But wait, I remembered I'll be staying with him.

I went out of the room after gathering my things. I couldn't picture out myself stationary inside my room whole weekends. I used to watch some movies with my cousin though, but then my current situation was kind of away-from-joyful-activities because of that stupid contract.

    I pouted at that remark.

"Stop pouting, you're making ot hard for me to resist you," Huh? I looked over my shoulder and I saw Raven beside me, "Hi Kathy! Are you going home alone?"

"N-not really," I answered. God! Why am I stuttering?

I continued walking as he followed. It felt awkward that no one talked.

"You said something about me pouting," I started the topic cause I'm feeling uncomfortable with the silence. And yeah I am bothered with what he said, I heard it right, I just want to make sure that it wasn't just my ears ringing. Heck I wouldn't let him slip. And I do believe he had said it awhile ago.
