CHAPTER SIX

"You're acting as if it bothers you a lot," he pocketed his hands then walked towards the car, "You can carry on the plan, since you don't have friends to talk about this, knowing you."

I huffed. Tch, you don't have to be that frank. Our plan; pretend that we're still enemies and never mention to anyone that we live in the same roof. Pretty lame, right? I know I don't have to worry keeping this because I don't have friends, but I don't know what I'm feeling today. Darn!

He slid his arm on my shoulder.

"If anything happens, I'll let it pass"

"Get your arms off my shoulder, I don't know what kind of germs you possess" I said in disgust, he just rolled his eyes

"But Kathy, don't let anyone know I'm a vampire understood?" I nodded then he entered the car. Weird. He didn't argue at all.

I sat next to him. We were at the backseat since we have our own driver. This is odd, so not him today, huh?

"Just my presence alone can piss you off, I think that's enough," he mumbled though I didn't hear it clear. I just let him then looked outside through the tinted glass window.

Why are we in a car? Well, basically our present home is quite far from school. If we walk, I think we should get our late slip for tardiness. It's for Evel's sake too, since he can't go and walk under the heat of the sun.

Today is Friday. And thank God it is.

"Why did we stop here?" I asked. We were in front of the back gate.

"You take the back gate, I'll take the front" EHH?

"Why should I be the one to take the back gate? Stop commanding me, you're not my boss!"

He opened the car's door beside me.

"Go. Don't make me mad, Kathy" Ugh!! I don't have time to argue, I have no choice but to obey him

I went out with my fuming expression.

"I'll just meet with you later, always keep your cell on," he said while we lock gazes. He sneered then closed the door.

Did he just sneer at me?

My right brow automatically raised upward as the car started to move.

"Don't bother!" I shouted. Ugh! I thought he's all angelic now.

I walked through the back gate. Annoyed. Pissed. Irritated.

Seriously? We could have just used the front gate together.. wait . together??

I looked around.

Only few people pass here. Now I know why he wanted me to use the back gate. He should have told me that before taking it to action and ordering me as if I'm his slave. Psh. Sometimes, the quotation 'Action speaks louder than words' is not applicable to my life.

Hmm. There are lots of early people today huh? Crowds. There's something posted on the bulletin board, I went through the crowds and since they know my rules, they distanced theirselves away from me. Good.

I looked at the "Popular List."

Evangel Francis Filtsu? Who the heck is that? How come he ranked first when I don't even recognize him.

"Second huh?" The voice sounds familiar. I turned to face the person who just talked, "Ohh, hey Kathy!"

"R-Raven is it?" I looked at the list again. Rank No. 2 - Raven Creehl. Wow! Next to Evangel.. err, "Didn't expect to see you again" Evel was beside him and he was staring at me. Stop staring or you want me to poke your eyes?
