James POV:
Tonight is the first night of plotting. Aaron is waiting for me at her house. When I was walking Aaron home we thought of ways for me too get closer to Emma without her getting too suspicious. Little does Aaron know that it will only make Chad want Emma More. He'll spend more time forcused on her then Aaron. Once I have Emma, Chad will be devistated and lose his place. As for Arron well... she can try her best to fix his little broken heart.
Aaron will hate me of course but its all part of the plan. As Aaron rambles on with her crazy ideas to get Chad alone. I came up with some of my own ideas.
1) Tutoring / homework help
2) Siting with her at lunch
3) Protection from Chad
I know what your all saying
"James those will never work" "Is that all you got"
So before you all start throwing star dust at me just hear me out.
1) Tutoring/homework help.
Now remember ever since the guys and I have met Emma she has done our homework/assignments. The whole reason I'm passing is because of her. Emma is the smartest girl I know. She is extremely thorough which means, everything has to be perfect. Not only that Emma takes in all our factors that make us... well us, and applies it to our work so its believeable. So far none of our teachers have asked if its our own work. I want to prove to Emma that I actually want to pass this year with my own work. Which is true. When I'm given a job I want to make sure I can actually do the job.
Plus before Emma came along I was at the top 10 list of my class. Sure I wasn't number one like Emma is now, but with Emma's help getting back to it shouldn't be too hard. The hard part is to make my work look like hers. If I go to class with my homework looking completely different from all the rest... I don't even want to think about what might happen.
Now moving on.
2) Sitting with her at lunch.
Ever since Chad and Aaron made Emma the school Loser. She has been ostracized. If while studying I'm able to sway her mind about me. To increase her trust in me sitting with her at lunch might show to her that "titles" don't matter to me. If could get Aaron to continue the food fights for a bit then someday stand up for Emma and myself. Plus I want to see what she writes at lunch. She has this book that she writes in at lunch. One day I looked in her knapsack but couldn't find it. Maybe if I get on her good side she'll show me.
3) Protecting her from Chad.
Well by the looks of it he's already starting to put his 'moves' on her. According to my observations she was shocked and slightly scared. If I'm right Emma hasn't been in many relationships. Or at least since she has been at the school. Which may work out to my advantage. Chad has a routine when it comes to picking up girls. Well get to that later. When Emma gets closer to me, Chad will have his guard up and the torches will be lit. Not just for me but for Emma. I'm worried that if Chads fear of losing Emma gets the better of him he might try a more aggressive approach. If this occurs the probability that Emma will be totally turned off by him, Chad won't understand. Emma will need me to help her through it.
There are only a few problems to my plan.
1) Aaron could go back on the deal.
2) Chad could win Emma over before me.
3) I could fall for Emma.
Out of all three. The last one is what I'm most worried about. If we did fall for each other things could get way out of hand. The plan could go in the opposite direction. Then again I wouldn't be alone. Emma's a nice girl. She has alot of potential that she hasn't been able to use because, of us. Not to mention shes very pretty. With her milky brown skin and gorgious smile and that adorable laugh ...God... snap out of it its not going to happen! Syking myself out won't help me at all. Now as I was saying, I'm on my way to Aaron's house to hear her side of the plan. I have a sinking feeling that makes me want to puke my guts out. She said she wanted time to get things organized. So we agreed that I would come back at night. I got a few hours sleep. Aaron got home at 2:30pm and I got home at 3:00 pm. So by the time I got home I had 4 1/2hrs of sleep.
