Chapter 7: Sneaking Out

Buzz! Buzz!

Ahhh What Time is it!!!

Dam!!! Where's my stupid phone!!!!

I finally find my phone while falling to the freezing Cold Floor. My body shivered from the loss of warmth. I sprang up and quickly got dressed. I opened my bottom drawer that was filled with nothing but sugary  foods. I try to only have them on they days that I pratice controling my light.

I grabbed my empty backpack and place in a change of clothes and 3 chocolate bars, 2 cans of pop, and a handfull of hard candy. I mean who knows I might not be able to control it this time. When I first got my light back to life it was hard to control it. I would constantly need a ton of sugar just to keep conscious. My friend the moon says that it will take time to fully gain control since my light was out for so long.

Sigh

I grab my shoes and walk as quietly down stairs. I always put my shoes on outside so that my family wont hear me leaving. Okay yes... I may be a little paranoid but if you were trying to sneak out at 11:30 during the day you would be too. I know that my folks would have a huge hissy fit if they found out that I was gone. I mean ever since "that day" they make sure they know where I am 24-7.

I get to my door and look around to make sure that No One had followed me down stairs. I open it just a crack. Light pored through the crack making everything that it touched glow. I realized that I didn't have my sunglases so I quickly put my bag down and shoes and ran up stairs to find them.

Where are they?? I looked every where... under my bed, in my closet, on my desk. Still no where to be found. I finally remembered that they were in my bottom drawer. I had placed them there last time so that I wouldn't forget... Well that went well didn't it??

I went back down stairs to find that my shoes were gone... I mean GONE. I had just placed them there. Panic rose through me like a bolt of lightning. Ether someone was up or someone/thing was in my house. The door was still in the same spot as be for though so that lessened my worried face.

Suddenly a hand grabs my shoulder and pushes me toward the wall I gasp and turn around quickly raising my backpack as a weapon. Only to realize that its Tom... AKA my Idiot/Smart Ass of a brother!

"Damit Tom!! You Scared me!! What Are you even doing up?"

A low rumble came from his chest. Well I'm glad someone found this funny... haha note the sarcasm!!!

"I might ask you the same thing sis... hmm?"

I stayed quite.  I really didn't want to tell him... I mean common there's no chance in this galaxy that he will even believe me that 'I sneak out of my house to see my best friend who Just happens to be the "Moon" Who happens to be giving me lessons on how to glow' ... so why bother!! Tom put on a devilish smirk... Oh Shit!

"hmm ... What's his name hmm???"

OMG!! Don't Panic... Don't panic!!! Shit!!! Tooo LATE!!

"What no!! I'm not seeing anyone!!! Tom I promise you a 1000x! Common Tom your my brother your the one who will know first incase he tries to hurt me and stuff!!!"

My words came out a light-year a Millisecond!! I mean Every word I said was true... right?? What am I Saying!!! Of course its true!! Sure Chad is being all weird and stuff but come on he glowed for the first time!!! He has a valid excuse right?? But really... Why doesn't he ask his friends to help him or his own Parents!! Why Me?? Why did I agree to this!?

"Hello.... Earth to Emma! hahaha"
