Chapter 2: Simple talk

Neiger's P.O.V

I hate my life. I really hate my life! It sucks. Why do people have to work to survive? Why do Mackenzie have to leave me just like that? I have nothing now. NOTHING.

I walked out of the cafe that I worked while listening to a music in my earphone. The music was Photograph by Ed Sheeran. I enjoyed the music very much I didn't realise that a woman? or a girl? fell down. It was caused by me. I hit her without realising her infront of me just now.

"I'm so sorry" I told her and let out a hand to help her stand up. "Are you okay?" I looked at her and she looks beautiful like an angel. "I'm fine. Look where you're going next time." I let out a smile "Okay, beautiful. What's your name? I'm Neiger." she smirked.

"You just hit me. Why are you asking me this? Interested in me? I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend." she laughed. "Can I at least have your number phone?" trying my best to get into her "Okay. 01....." I smiled. I saw her blushed a bit. "Thank you." we shake our hands "My pleasure." she blushed again.

On my way home, I let out a smile to every person I saw. It was the happiest day of my life. I lived in an apartment not far from the cafe that I work. When I got home, I quickly check my phone. I chat her on Whatsapp.

Neiger: Hey. I'm that guy just now.

seen at 7.06p.m.

Neiger: Are you ignoring me?

seen at 7.10p.m.

Guess she doesn't want to chat with me. I tried to call her. I know this was a bad idea but I missed her already. Beep beep beep... she really is ignoring me ,huh? I'll leave her for now. I'll take my shower and go to sleep.

Next morning, I heard a song entitled Bad Blood by Taylor Swift. I think I know what's that supposed to mean. Someone is calling me but I'm too lazy to answer the call. Suddenly, I realise something. What if its the angel I met yesterday? I quickly check on my phone. 'Angel from my heaven' it was she. I decided to answer it.

"Mhm?"

"I'm sorry for not answering your call last night. As you know, I have a boyfriend." I can hear her chuckled.

"At least reply my chat, okay." I sounded angrily. I'm not really mad at her.

"Look, I'm sorry. My boyfriend would've killed me if he knew that I was chatting with other guy."

"It's okay. I forgive you."

"I gtg. See you later?"

"Sure."

The conversation went well. I chuckled for a bit. I'll take her no matter what.
