Chapter 10: Hiding my tears

Neiger's P.O.V

I was totally shocked about it. What were they talking about til Anthena collapse. I then went help the doctor and nurse to carry Anthena to the couch. In a few hours later, she woke up. She looks a bit confused.

"Ann, are u okay?" I said but she didn't answer me. I hold her hand and look at her. "It's okay, u need to rest" as I walk towards the door and suddenly she said something.

"N..ei..ger.." I turn back and look at her again. She looks like she was gonna say something but I'm not really sure what.

"What is it?"

"Nei..ger..please.. st..ay.." she said and then she let out her hand slowly. I went near her.

The next day, we went to the hospital again. Anthena did not look fine as she was hiding something.

"Hey, Ann. Are u okay?" I tried to ask her.

"I'm fine" it was worth a try though. I think she'll tell me later. We both walk towards her grandma's room.

Anthena's P.O.V

It felt like a heavy weight is on my shoulder now. I tried to hide this painful feeling but I know that I'm bad at hiding something. Neiger did ask me but I tried my best to hide it. He looks at me curiously. I'll tell him soon when I'm ready.

As we walk towards the room, I looked at my grandma and tried to hold this tears. It's hard to look at someone who's going to leave you. I tried to fake a smile.

Henrietta's P.O.V

I saw Ann and her friend went into my room. I could see her trying to fake a smile and holding her tears. The doctor had told me everything so I guess the doctor did told her too. I felt sorry for her. I did not want to leave her not now and never. I realise that she brought something for me. It was my favorite flower, rose. She quickly hug me.

"Sweetie, thanks for the rose" I said while rubbing her hand.

"It was my pleasure, grandma. I know it was your favorite" and I can see her tears started to run through her cheek. She can still fake her smile.

"You are bad at faking your smile" I said and giving her a smile too.

"You know me, grandma. I'm also bad at lying" her tears didn't stop. The makeup on her face was ruin.
"Stop crying. You look like a clown now" she laugh a bit and I was happy to look at her again. She wipe her tears with the tissues on the nearby table. "Who's this gentleman here?" I asked her.

"This is my friend, Neiger" she introduce the man to me.

"Hello, grandma" he smiled at me. He looks stunning and tall.

"Hello there, Neiger. You both looks like a lover to me" I chuckled a bit and look at their impression. They were blushing together.

"No we're not, grandma. We're just friends and no more than that" he said and trying to hide his blush. They look perfect together.

"Yeah. He's right" Ann tries to interupt. We talk a lot until night falls.
