Chapter 14: A kiss?!

•I'll make sure that you're going to be alright when you're with me•

Anthena's P.O.V

I woke up as I heard my alarm was very loud. I turned it off and realised something. I remembered someone was in my house. It was a 'he' I'm 100% sure but who? How can I not remember who? Suddenly, I heard my uncle called me in the kitchen."Ann! Breakfast is ready. Come down now!" Wait that wasn't my uncle's voice. I quickly get up and ran down the stairs and to the kitchen. Holy crap! I still can't believe that he's here.

"Jay..hi.." Yeah what happened to me there.

"Goodmorning, Ann. How's your sleep?" he said and my uncle was right beside him. I can see the breakfast on the table. It really looks delicious! I can't wait to put that whole thing in my mouth.

"Is that for me?" as I pointed on the food.

"Yeah we had our breakfast just now and it's left for you" Oh my gosh the food is a lot but I'm sure I can fit that all in my stomach. I ate the foods and yeah as I thought it was veryyyyy good.

"Who made this? It's hella good!"

"I made it and why thank you for the compliment" Jay smirked at me. Woah, I remembered he was a good cook. But the smirk tho.

When I finished the foods, Jay told me that he's going back to his place or whatever it is and I nodded. He went and say goodbye to my uncle and aunt. I waved at him and he walked out of the house.

It is the senior year and I should study to graduate. I went to my room and study. Suddenly, I heard my phone rang.

Rowell: Anthena Cornelia.

Ann: Rowell?

Rowell: Yes it's me. How have you been lately?

Ann: Good. What about you?

Rowell: Not so good that I miss you so much. Are you going to school tomorrow?

Ann: Yeah and why?

Rowell: Nothing. Meet you at school tomorrow.

Ann: Alright. Goodbye.

Rowell: Goodbye.

I didn't expect that. It got a bit awkward between us but I'm fine with it. I continue studying in my room. In the afternoon, I got a bit bored in the house so I decided to take a walk outside. I was using my earphone while listening to a song. There was a park nearby so I walk to there. A bunch of kids are running around the park with their parents. I decided to sit for a while. I saw a bench and sat there. As I was listening to a song, someone blocked the sunlight and it got my attention.

"Oh hey" I smiled at him.

"Hey, Ann. I went to your house just now but you weren't there and your uncle told me that you were out and here I am." He knew me so well. Yeah it's Jay. He's back.

"Wanna grab some coffee?"

"Sure" he nodded. We walked to the nearest coffee shop."Let me order" he said. I went to take a seat as usual near to a window.

I was humming as he gave me a cup of coffee. My fav one and yes he knows me very well.

"Wanna walk?" he asked me.

"Yes sure" we walk around the neighborhood and chat a lot. I remembered someone who I've walk with before at the same place. I start so feel sorry for him.

"What's the matter, Ann?"

"Ah, it's nothing."

"Come on. Just tell me. You know you can trust a guy like me" he winked at me.

"I was thinking about this guy. I made he feel awful and I regretted it" I look down.

"Hey, what happened? Did he ask you out or something?"

"We've known each other for a year now and he just told me that he's into me but I didn't accept it. I mean I don't have the same feeling towards him. I just see him as a friend and nothing more."

"I see. If I was in your position, it would be hard for me too. I think you should just give him a time and then apologize to him."

"Thanks, Jay. I'll keep that in mind" I took a deep breath and yeah I got relaxed. I realised that Jay had gotten closer to me. Wait what is this? He touched my lips with his finger and my heart is beating fast. He slowly touch his lips to mine. I got froze for a while until he called my name.

"That's to make you fine, Ann" how is it fine for me. Oh gosh Jay! You're making me crazy again.
