All I could remember was waking up to the heart machine beeping.
It was like a time keeper, each breath I took the beep would go right long with it.
I rubbed my eyes and looked at my hands and light sprouted from them.
I was dressed in hospital clothing with confusion creeping along my face. I turned to my right and seen a bright mirror shining from afar in the bathroom.
I pulled the blankets aside and stepped on the cold floor.
Not thinking of a reason as to why I shouldn't walk to the light, I just did.
The mirror looked like a window, it's as if the sun was directly behind it. It was so bright you would've thought that , that was the only light in the room.
I walked slowly to the mirror and I didn't look back, I had no idea that darkness was growing in the room as I got closer to the light. It was as if black roots was growing along the walls and the floor.
I can hear the whispers saying don't go , it'll trap you. But as I got closer to the light...I felt a ease breeze, it felt as if I was about to enter a new world, not knowing whether I was actually walking into something or maybe I was just dreaming... I knew there was something about that light.
"MarLee' ? MarLee'?"
"Huh?"
"Wake up, now ? You've been sleeping for almost a year now. Get up!"
I sat up ,rubbed my eyes, and looked around the room.
Nobody was in sight.
It was a bottle of ciroc , and ashed out blunts sitting next to me while I was leaning against the bathroom wall.
"Get up !"
The voice shouted and I jumped up without hesitation. I wobbled out of the bathroom and headed into the bedroom.
There was a man in a white suit sitting on the bed, his back was facing me and his hands was resting on a gold and black cane.
I stood by the door and the room was covered in fog.
"Sit..."
"Who are you?"
"You don't get to ask me questions, just do as I say."
I walked over towards the bed with my heart pounding in my chest..
"You nervous?"
"No."
"I can hear a drum line. Mind if I make you relax?"
The man blew on the palm of his hand and the scent of flowers came out of his mouth.
A beautiful scent danced across my nose and I began to feel at ease.
"Now, my name is Dr.Wish, I give you wish, and you be happy."
"Are you ... Are you a .."
"Genie... No, I'm your spirit god."
His back was still facing me.
"You get to wish anything you've ever wanted ! Just say it."
I walked closer to the bed and sat directly behind him.
"May I warn you that you're no longer in your body?"
"Wait what?"
Dr.Wish laughed, turned to me and I could only see the right side of his face.
He pointed to the bathroom and said "yes, look at you still sitting on that floor helpless."
All I could see was my legs stretched out and my upper body leaned against the bathroom wall.
"Do you remember what happened ?"
He asked .
"I just kind of lost it ... I don't know im really stressed out man."
"Yes, yes, I see that. This is why I'm here to rescue you, but until then let's have a little fun and enjoy your darkest nightmares. Make a wish."
"What do you mean nightmares?"
He stood up and walked towards the window that was in front of him.
"MarLee', you're one special individual that seems to take on a lot. By that being said , we are going to make your nightmares become a beautiful delight of paradise."
He turned around and half of his face was completely burned off.
The other side was okay, he was handsome from what I can see.
I jumped on accident because it startled me .
"Did I scare you my dear? Don't be afraid."
I stood up and stared at him for a brief moment.
He walked closer to me and said
"Im just like you, and you are just like me . This may seem a bit confusing but I promise you , you'll understand once you make your wishes."
He placed his hand over my shoulder and said
"Come with me."
"Where are we going?"
"Inside of your mind, now close your eyes and think about a time where you felt like nobody loved you."
I closed my eyes and began to breathe in and out.
I began to feel a cold breeze against my skin and then all of a sudden we were at my old middle school.
I opened my eyes and saw a whole bunch of teens running back and forth in the halls.
My spirit God was still by my side.
"Ahhh , should've known it would be here." He said
"What do you mean?"
"This is when you began to feel depressed, this is when your life changed. At this very exact moment."
I looked up at him and he was smiling.
"Don't worry they can't see us, but look ... That's you standing over there."
I turned my head to the left and saw little ol'me putting books into my locker.
I had to be around fourteen at least.
"Do you know wats going to happen?"
He asked.
I stared at myself and shook my head no.
A group of girls crowded around the old me and began to get in my face .
"Now MarLee' just watch ..."
The girls began to push the old me away from
My locker, they threw my books down and laughed at me about how my hair was.
One pulled all of my belongings out of my locker and said
"You're scary as fuck, do some shit !"
The principle came to the rescue and told the girls that they needed to leave and go to class.
The principle kneeled down and asked if I was alright.
I said nothing and started crying.
I looked at myself and realized that , that was my breaking point but I was so young.
I looked at my spirit God and asked
"Can we leave ?"
He looked down at me and said
"Are you ready to make your wishes? You have three."
"Yeah but what was the purpose of this?"
"To show that even though you had a hard time fitting in you still managed to stay and remain humbled all of these years. The world needs more people like you MarLee'... Close your eyes."
I closed my eyes and we were back inside of my bedroom.
"Now this moment is when you made up your mind to take your own life."
"How come I don't remember this?"
"Well, once you're in my world nothing matters at this point."
"Am I , am I dead?!"
He walked over the bathroom door, kicked my foot and said
"Almost."
"Oh my gosh !! Wait I don't know if I'm ready to die man !!"
I ran to the bathroom and tried waking myself up .
"Wake me up!"
I screamed ..
"Wake me up please !"
"Not until we finish this task, relax MarLee' you're just sleeping from the time being."
I walked out of the bathroom and sat on the bed
"Is anyone coming to get me ?!"
"Yes , in five , four , three , two..."
The door slammed open and it was my bestfriend Cory.
He ran inside of the bathroom and started crying . He hugged me and begged me to wake up but I gave no response.
"Yo! Tell him im alive please !"
"Why? You wanted to be dead , therefore you shall let this moment be what it's supposed to be.
"Cory !! Cory !! Im alive bro!"
"He can't hear, see, or even feel you dear."
I watched as my bestfriend screamed and cried for God himself.
"This is a moment where you'll realize that you've made a mistake."
"Can I fix this?"
"Yes , are you ready to make your wishes?"
"Yes I am please , now will be great."
"Alright now you may not wish to be alive . And you can not make a wish for others , only for you ."
I stood up and walked over to the bathroom door.
I listened to my bestfriend sing and that gave me comfort.
"Let's go somewhere else ... Close your eyes."
The spirit God grabbed my hand as I closed my eyes and less than seconds we were at a beach.
The moon was full and the weather was warm.
"Take your shoes and socks off . We are walking into the water."
He stripped off his clothes and I could see a whole bunch of tatted arrows and spirals all over his body.
He placed his cane with the rest of his clothes and began to walk towards the water
I did as he asked and I followed him into the water.
"I can't swim."
"This doesn't require you to swim , this requires you to meditate."
My feet was visible in the clear water and I could also see colorful sparkles as my feet wiggled in the sand.
"What would you like to wish for?"
He walked further into the water but for some reason he was actually walking on the water.
Every step he took it would light up in different colors.
He sat on the water and criss crossed his legs and waited for my response.
" I wish that I could have a great girl In my life, I want her to be as humbled as me with a great heart."
The spirit God smiled and snapped his finger once.
"What's the other?"
"I wish that I could be rich forever, I would like to own my own publishing company and to live comfortable."
The spirit God snapped his fingers again but this time he did it twice.
"And what's the last one?"
"To feel no pain, to always be happy and to never feel no more pain."
"Are you sure ?"
He asked .
"Yes."
He snapped his fingers three times then all of a sudden his eyes started glowing.
He looked up to the heavens and the clouds separated .
A beam of light shot out of his mouth straight into the sky.
I've never seen anything like it , his body began to rise in the air and wings shot straight from his back.
Whatever he was doing made the earth shake . The waves began to roar and the Palm trees began to dance with the wind.
His body floated back down to the water and he landed perfectly on his feet.
His eyes was still glowing as he walked over towards me.
As he got closer his tattoos started to glow all white and the water separated with each step he took.
I was scared to the point I wanted to hide from him.
He placed his hand on my forehead and said
"Now you may enjoy your darkest nightmares, here take this , call upon the heavens and ill be there."
With his other hand he gave me a crystal .
"But how can I call on you!?"
"You'll call on me when you're in need of me, trust me . You'll know all the words to say , now go . You're free."
He placed his other hand on my forehead , I began to feel sleepy and All I could remember was me fading away from the beach as my eyes started to close.
I few minutes went by then I woke up.
I was in a hospital bed dressed in the clothing that the nurses would give you .
It was the same hospital room that I was already in before.. I looked around and there were flowers, balloons and big ass teddy bears everywhere.
I looked at my coffee stand and saw that it was only 12 in the afternoon.
I tried lifting my arms but I couldn't , I was so sore for some reason.
I mumbled a few words to myself
"What... What is going on ?"
"MarLee !?"
"Oh my god is she awake?"
My bestfriend popped up from behind one of the big stuffed animals and rushed towards me.
"Oh my god!!! Bitch don't you ever scare me what the hell wrong with you?!"
"What happened ?"
I asked.
"You attempted to commit suicide , and I found you on the bathroom floor lastnight."
"Really?"
"Yes bitch !!! You had me scared as fuck, I was praying hard and everything!!!"
"How did I even call you?"
"You ain't me a text saying that you were tired of people using you and hurting you , I came as fast I could . Like why would you do that to me , im your bestfriend ! Im always here for you !"
I rubbed my eyes and shook my head.
" I ... I don't know man."
"Is she alright?"
Cory turned his head and said yeah she's fine .
"Who's that?"
I asked..
A beautiful girl walked towards Cory .
"Hey baby, how are you feeling?"
My eyes grew big as fuck..
She was beautiful as ever , her hair was long and black.
Her skin tone was yellow , her makeup was just right, the scent of perfume was very sweet and her style in fashion was amazing.
She leaned in to kiss my lips.
"Im ... Im fine ."
"Good, you scared me ! When Cory called me I was devastated to be by your side, im sorry that I couldn't be there but thank god your bestfriend was there ."
She turned around to hug Cory and I have him a puzzled look.
"Im going to go get the nurse baby I'll be right back."
The girl walked away and headed out the door.
"Cory ! Who was that ?!"
"Nigga you sure your ass wasn't in a comma? That's your wife , Ledorrey."
"What?! Im married ?!"
Cory laughed so hard and said
"Seriously?!"
"When did I get married ?!"
"I don't know , like ummm about 7 months ago."

"Yes ! And stop yelling before they put your slow ass to sleep."
"Dude , this is serious , how the hell did I get married and I wasn't even invited to my own wedding."
He pulled out his phone and went to my Instagram.
"Here since you ass playing dumb."
I scrolled through my pics and saw that I had nice cars and a huge ass mansion.
Not to forget a beautiful girl on my arms.
"Bruh, is that my house ? My car?"
"Yes nigga ! Ask me something else again , and imma call pastor Jenkins up in here to pray for you."
"Okay here she is, wide awake !"
Ledorrey came in with the nurse and the nurse smiled.
She flipped through pages on her clipboard and said
"Ahhh Mrs.MarLee' how are you feeling this afternoon?"
I sat up so I could position myself better.
Ledorrey helped me out by fluffing my pillows so I could be comfortable.
"Umm I actually feel great."
"That's good to hear. Now I am going to take your fever and blood pressure to make sure that everything is okay."
I nodded my head yes.
She did all of the procedures and they all came out decent.
"Okay MarLee' you're all set , now all we need to do is for you to fill out some paper work for the medication that you will need and you'll be on your way."
"Is there anything that we need to do , due to her suicidal actions?"
Ledorrey asked.
No ma'm she was already under suicidal watch . We've already gathered information . Just make sure she's near you or him at all times ."
Ledorrey shook her head okay.
"I'll be back with the paper work for you MarLee, sit tight."
The nurse headed back out the door and Ledorrey sat next to me.
"Baby, I know you're having a hard time but please just let me in, im here for you and I want you to understand that okay?"
Tears began to fall down her cheek and I reached for her hand.
"I sorry babe, I didn't mean to scare you or hurt you in any way."
She smiled and wiped her face.
"You're lucky I love you. I had to cancel my fashion event just to come see your ugly ass, what made you want to do this knowing Cory and I are only one phone call away."
"I just , I don't know man I really don't know anything right now."
"Well all that matters is that you're alive and well. Please don't ever leave me like this again.. Please MarLee'"
" I promise."
I reached my arms out and she gave me the warmest hug that I've never felt before.
"Okay MarLee' here's the paper work that I need for you to fill out , and once you're done just call me back in and you'll be all set to go."
The nurse handed me the clipboard and went on about her way.
"Here let me do it , you get some clothes on. I brought you some clean ones in your bag over where Cory was sitting at."
She pulled my blankets over to the side and helped me out of bed.
Her smile was so catchy , I couldn't even focus on putting my feet on the cold floor.
I smiled at her smile and she asked
"Why are you smiling so hard silly?"
"I just feel so lucky to have you , I really don't even know why, but you're such a beautiful girl ."
She kissed my lips softly and said
"You tell me that every morning MarLee' , im the lucky one."
"That's why her ashy ass showing. Im lucky to have this view so I can put it on snapchat."
I turned to Cory and flicked him off.
"You're fake as fuck !!"
"Yes I know , and this is why you love me." He tossed my bag on the bed and began to search for underwear immediately.
"Where did all the gifts come
From?"
I asked.
"Your fans , some friends and family but mostly your fans."
I pulled my shirt over my head and walked over to one of the

I sat the card down on the table and just thought to myself
"Wow , this is crazy .."
"Baby is this yours ?"
I turned to Ledorrey and saw that she was holding on to a necklace with a shiny ,purple crystal dangling from it.
I walked over to her and she laid it On the palm of my hand.
"Hmm it looks familiar honestly , but I'll hold on to it."
"You were holding it in your hand when I saw you on the bathroom floor."
Cory mentioned.
"Really?"
"Yeah really, I thought maybe It meant something to you so I brought it when I rushed you to the ER."
I pulled my jeans up along my legs and stared at the crystal as Cory was explaining his reasons as to why he thought it was important to me.
"Alright baby , imma go give this to the nurse , are you hungry?"
"Yeah kind of ."
"Well I've made reservations for us at Michael's Dine."
I smiled and said
"You do realize that's.."
"Your favorite place ? I know babe.. Now hurry and get dressed so we can leave."
"Yeah cause paparazzi is outside ."
Cory said while peaking through he blindes.
"Paparazzi?"
I buckled up my pants and headed over to the window. We had to be at the 10th floor. Cause everybody looked like ants from afar.
The door seemed to be really crowded and it made me question who I really was.
"Man that's not for me."
Cory looked at me and said
"bitch please. Do you not know who are to these people ?"
I walked away and said
"Im just a writer , that's all bro."

Ledorrey came in and gathered all of my things inside of my bag.
I sat on my bed so that I could put on my shoes.
The nurse came in and said
"Alright MarLee you're all set to go, you'll have your medication in 3 days. It's for anxiety as well as depression, you're still on suicidal watch but I believe your wife will keep you in good hands."
Ledorrey rubbed my face gently and smiled.
"Before you go, may I have your autograph Mrs.Marlee? I love your stories."
Cory shouted out
"See!!! I tried to tell you !"
I started laughing and I said
"Well I mean why not , I suppose. Do you have a pen?"
The nurse jumped up and down with excitement.
"Yes I do ! And if you can please sign in my favorite book of yours."
I signed my name and put a little note of encouragement next to it.
"All done."
I handed her the book and she gave me the hugest hug ever.

The nurse backed away and apologized to Ledorrey.
"Im sorry im just a huge fan, you're very lucky to have such an amazing wife."
"It's okay hun, im sure she gets it a lot, right Mar ?"
My face turned red and I began to blush.
"Oh yeah you know cause I got hoes coming left and right."
"Mhmm. Don't get your ass beat."

Cory said.
Ledorrey's phone began to ring and she answered.
"Hello?.... Okay you're outside ? Alright awesome here we come thanks Hun."
"Who was that?"
"Our driver, he's ready to pick us up."
"Okay well it was nice meeting you guys , I'll show you the way out ."
We followed the nurse and we headed straight to the elevator.
"Here baby put your sunglasses on."

"Because there's going to be cameras in our faces and they don't need to see you right now and put your hoody on as well."
She unzipped my bookbag and handed me a hoodie with some shades.
I quickly put them on and waited for the doors to open.
"Are Yall getting food and heading to the house ?"

"Yeah it depends on how everything is once we get there. Where are you going to be ?"
"I gotta go to work once we head out ,MarLee' make sure you answer when I call you on my lunch break okay?"
I nodded my head okay.
The doors began to open and I grabbed Ledorrey's hand.
We headed for the exit and the nurse said
"Good luck MarLee' stay strong !"
I waved goodbye and Ledorrey and I walked outside.
With or hesitation the media and paparazzi Bomb rushed us.
"Marlee' why did you try to take your life?"
"Are your fans not important to you?"
"Do you feel like you've failed your company?"
"Do you believe that they will continue to see you as an inspiration?"
Questions of all kinds piled on top of each other as Ledorrey , Cory and I fought to meet my driver.
There were people holding up posters, and rainbow flags .
There were even people begging for autographs and pictures .
"Ms.ledorrey !"
A man in a black suit jumped up and down waving .
"There's our driver, come on."
We ran to the suv and he already had the back door opened.
Ledorrey and I got inside of the car while Cory stayed .
I rolled the window down and asked
"Why won't you get in?!"
"I drove here! I'll be fine though, I'll see you guys tomorrow maybe okay?"
He kissed my forehead and started shoving people away.
"Back yall nosey asses up ! My bestfriend doing fine , she don't need to answer anybodies questions , now gone !"
The driver got inside of the car and asked

"I'll text you when I'm at the spot bro!"
Cory looked over at me and shouted okay !
The driver junked the horn so that people would move out of the way.
There were people everywhere ,
I was in a state of shock to even realize I had fans of this amount.
The driver was able to escape the scene before the newscast came ...
The driver turned the music down and said
"Wheeew, we really have to keep you on the down low till further notice."
I looked at the rear view mirror to see what his face looked like but he was so focused on the road..
"How are you feeling by the way MarLee'?"
"I feel good actually , thanks for asking."
"Oh no problem, just making sure."
"Baby im really glad that you're okay."
I looked over at Ledorrey and kissed her soft lips.
She rested her head on my shoulder and began to enjoy the ride to the diner.
We arrived there in a hour or so , the place was packed.
"Let's just get to go babe."

She asked ..
"Yeah I just want to be alone , I don't want to be around anybody but you."
"Okay , imma go inside to order the food , what would you like?"
"I'll get a steak with mashed potatoes on the side as well as some broccoli."
" okay , wish would you like anything?"
The driver turned his head to us and said
"No Thankyou madame."
My mouth dropped instantly once I seen his face, one side burned and the other side looking handsome as ever .

"Umm, uh nothing just get the food."
She frowned a little and said
Alright, I'll be back."
She headed out the of the truck and walked towards the diner.
I took off my seatbelt and leaned in towards the front .

He smiled and said

"Yes I am, how does it feel to live a luxurious life?"
I sat back in my seat and said
"Man you really did your thing here, I have such and amazing wife bro... Seriously she's fucking beautiful with the fattest ass ever. And I had no idea that .. That I was .."
"Famous ? Yes you asked to be rich and this what came with it."
I leaned in to the front ...
"Does she have any idea that this is only a wish?"
"Nope according to her you've been rich for almost five years now."
"What???! What's going to happen next ?"
He tilted his hat and places on his sunglasses .
"Aww, just go with the flow dear and make sure to hold on to that crystal . You're going to need it."
I patted myself down and searched for the crystal.
"Oh shit , where is it ?!"
I stood up front the seat of the truck and searched everywhere in sight for it .
Ledorrey came back and opened the door.
"Here baby grab the food."
"Baby!! Where's my necklace that had the purple looking crystal on it."
" I think Cory put it in your bag."
I reached for my bag and unzipped the front pocket and there it was.
I took a deep breath and said
"Thanks."
"Why do you love that so much? And grab the food please ! My feet are killing me in these heels."
"Sorry !"
I grabbed the food and sat it on the Other side of me so that I could help her in the truck.
She shut the door and asked the driver to take us home.
"Well?"
"Well what?"
"Why is that crystal so important to you?"
"Umm... "
I looked in the rear view mirror and wish glanced at me.
He gave me a wink and continued to focus on the road.
"Umm I just really love this crystal baby, it means something to me honestly."
"Oh okay, I was just wondering baby you don't have to explain... Hey wish?"
"Yes Mrs.Ledorrey?"
"Can you play something soft and ease please ? I would prefer Alina Baraz since that's MarLee's favorite artist."
She kissed my cheek and snuggled underneath me.
Wish nodded his head okay and scrolled through the playlist.
"Do you remember the time you asked me to marry you?"
She asked.
"I do ..."
"Of course you do , I will never forget that beautiful moment. MarLee' I love you so much. You do know that?"
I smiled and said
"Do you really?"
She sat up and gave me this sexy look.
With her finger tip she brushed my lips and trailed it all the way down to the top of my chest.
"Yes really , and I'm going to show you."

We got to a gated community that required a pin code to get in.
Wish typed in the code and gate began to separate, letting us in at one peace.
We passed by huge mansions, and fancy cars.
It looked as if I was living in a white neighborhood, cause I didn't see any black peoples just yet.
Or maybe I was already assuming too soon.
"Our neighbors mowed the front lawn for us by the way."
Ledorrey mentioned.
"Did they really ?"
"Yeah they left a note on our door."
We arrived at a brick house that was big as fuck.
"Your destination is here Mrs.MarLee' and Mrs.Ledorrey."
He got out of the car and opened our side of the door.
She grabbed her purse and my bag while I grabbed the food.
Once we got out, wish shut the door and Ledorrey tipped him.
"Oh no Thankyou , keep your money."
"Are you sure wish?"
"Yes ma'm I'll be at your service if you need me."
Ledorrey walked to the front the front door and I stayed to talk to wish.
"Yo man , I really don't know what to say or do ."
"Just go with the flow , it'll all come natural."
"But how when I don't even know her?"
"You asked and wished for it right? This is how it all started. You'll be fine trust me. She's not a bad girl she's the woman of your dreams, go have fun she's waiting for you."
"How long does this lifestyle last ?"
"as long as you want it to be , if you need me meditate with that crystal."
I nodded my head and said
"Okay."
I walked up to the front door and just when I had another question to ask, I turned around to find him gone.
"The fuck?"

"Come inside so we can warm up the food."
I leaned to see if I could find him hiding in the yard but he was still gone.
I walked inside of the house and admired the beauty.
Marble floors was shining everywhere from the lights on the ceilings.

The house was so big that I didn't even know how to get to the damn kitchen. But of course she didn't know that.
I followed the noise she was making with the cabinets and pots.
"Found you."
She smiled and said
"What ? You were lost in your own house?"

I sat at the kitchen counter and handed her the food.
She sat plates in front of me so she could prepare to warm dinner.
"Oh before I get started ....here."
She went into one of the cabinets and pulled out a green box that had a lion face on it.
She slid it towards me and said
"Your ass needs it."
I opened the box and it had pre rolled blunts.
I smiled so hard I couldn't even think straight.
"Did you roll these ?"
I asked
"Yes, I always do baby, duuh... Where you be at?!"
"Im sorry , I'm sorry. I think I'm having a hard time remembering things right now." She popped the plates in the microwave and rested her elbows on the counter.

She handed me a lighter and watched me as I lit up the blunt.
The microwave beeped and the food was ready.
"I made you some tea, hopefully you'll like it."
