Shawn drove me back to his house early. I walked into the house pissed. I was still mad about what happened at school. "Anastasia, come upstairs." Shawn said softly, leading me upstairs. I started to walk up the stairs with my fists balled up.
We got to his room and Shawn shut the door. I started to pace back and forth. "Who does she thinks she is? Telling me to stay away from you." I said making big hand gestures. "I'm glad I just beat her ass she deserved it." I added. "And to think that I EVER trusted her is beyond me!" I yelled stopping and catching my breath.
I leaned up against the wall and shut my eyes. I slowly started to slide down the wall. I heard Shawn get up and walk over to me. He kneeled down and hugged me. "I'm sorry Shawn I just got mad." I said hugging him back. "I know. I understand." He replied. "Here come with me." Shawn said grabbing my hand and taking me to the bathroom.
He helped me onto the counter and walked out of the bathroom for a while. He came back with rubbing alcohol and bandages. He took a cotton ball and started to dab my hand with it. I hissed in pain and pulled away. "I'm sorry are you alright?" Shawn asked with worry in his eyes. "Yeah I'm okay." I smiled weakly at him.
He gently grabbed my hand and continued. Neither of us talked. "I remember this all to well." I chuckled. "What do you mean?" Shawn smiled. "When Matt beat me up, you cleaned me up." I said, my smile slowly fading away.
Shawn's jaw clenched and his smile faded. "Yeah well, let's hope that doesn't happen again." Shawn said in a raspy voice. I nodded in agreement. "All done." Shawn said the throwing away the cotton balls and putting the rubbing alcohol away. "Thank you." I smiled weakly at him. Shawn looked over from the cabinet and started to walk over to me. He wrapped me up in his embrace and kissed the top of my forehead. "You're welcome." Shawn said holding me tighter.
"How about you and I watch movies and then later on we can invite Leah, Brian and Ian over." Shawn whispered in my ear. "That sounds lovely Shawn." I whispered back, kissing his neck. I hopped off the counter and walked out of the bathroom. I heard a huff from Shawn. "Is there a problem?" I asked spinning around. "Um, ah, no." Shawn said placing a hand over where I kissed his neck. "Ohhhh okay." I winked at him. I giggled and walked to Shawn's room.
I jumped on his bed and pulled out my phone. "Shawn should I call Leah and tell them to come over?" I yelled from the bedroom. "Yeah babe!" Shawn yelled back. I called Leah and told her to come over.
After about ten minutes Leah, Brian and Ian were here. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. "Hey guys." I said smiling. "Hey." They all replied walking in. "We are gonna go swimming wanna join us?" Leah asked. "Yeah I'll be right back." I said running back up the stairs to change. I put on my orange triangl bikini and put my hair into a messy bun.
I run back downstairs and into the pool to see see Ian, Leah and Brian in the pool. I put my towel down and walked over to the pool. I stood by the side of the pool and smiled. I noticed that Shawn wasn't in the pool. "Guys where's Shawn?" I asked looking around. "I have no idea." Ian smirked. Before I could respond someone pushed me into the pool. Shawn. I came up from the water and tried to catch my breath. "Shawn what the hell?" I asked surprised. I got out of the pool and walked over to Shawn. "Wait no be nice, be nice." Shawn said laughing and backing up. Shawn held out his hands and I held mine out and held his. I was trying to push him in but, we both lost our balance and fell in.
I came up from the water laughing with everyone else. Eventually we all got out of the pool and went back inside. "Leah come on." I said running upstairs to get changed. "So how have you been?" I asked shutting the door to Aaliyah's room. Aaliyah was away for the weekend so I'm using her room. "Good, how are you?" Leah asked grabbing her bag and grabbing her clothes. "Pretty good. I got into a fight today, but everything else is pretty good." I said laughing. Leah gasped. "Wait what?" She yelled. "Shh be quite!" I whispered/ yelled. "Sorry but you fought Laur?" She whispered. "Yeah, and I won. She barely touched me." I laughed. "Good she deserves it." Leah said high fiving me. We both laughed and got our clothes to change in.
I was looking through my bag and realized I didn't have any sleeping pants. "Leah, I don't have sleeping pants." I said laughing. "Grab a pair of Shawn's." She responded. "Good idea." I whispered and walked to Shawn's room. I grabbed a pair of Shawn's joggers and put them on. They were baggy on me and I smiled. I slipped on my Blackhawks hoodie and walked outside.
I walked over to the couch and sat down. Shawn, Ian and Brian were doing something by the TV, probably putting in the movie. "Guys what are we watching?" Leah asked walking to the couch. "Sinister." Shawn replied running over to the couch and lying down next to me. Everyone grabbed their blankets and sat on different recliners. I cuddled up next to Shawn and fell asleep on his chest.

The next morning Leah and I woke up early to get our hair and nails done for the ball. We both walked down stairs to see Karen and Manny. "Good morning second family." I joked. "Good morning honey." Karen smiled. "Good morning Anastasia and Leah." Manny said sipping on his coffee. "What's up manny magic." I joked. Manny laughed and continued to read the news paper.
"So what are you girls going to be doing before the ball?" Karen asked making tea for the three of us. "Getting our hair and nails done." Leah replied. "Ooooo fun." Karen replied. "Our appointments are at noon." I added looking at the clock. 10:30 am. "Leah we have to hurry up because the salon is about a half hour away and we still have to eat and get dressed." I said concerned. "Okay I'll just have some tea and an apple and we can go." Leah said nodding. "Okay same here ."
We ate and changed into comfy but presentable clothes. I grabbed my purse and keys and ran out the door. We hopped into my jeep and drove to the salon. (Hair and makeup above)

Leah and I came back to get our dresses on. I put on the dress Shawn bought for me and Leah put on a beautiful, long, fitted red dress. "You look amazing!" We both complemented each other. We smiled and walked down stairs. I looked to see Shawn and Ian waiting for Leah and I.
I walked to Shawn smiling. His broad built looked amazing in the suit. We didn't say anything to each other we just...... Stared. It wasn't an awkward stare. It was a more of romantic stare. "You look so, so gorgeous." Shawn said in awe. I blushed looking down. "Thank you." I said looking up at him. I look over to the side and see Karen and Manny all dressed up. I smiled at them. I looked back at Shawn and smiled. "You'er so handsome." I said fixing his tie. "Guys it's 6:30, we should probably get going." Ian said pointing to the door. We all nodded and walked out to the limo. I sat next to Shawn and smiled. "I love you." I whispered in Shawn's ear. "I love you too." He whispered back, kissing my lips. We both smiled into the kiss then pulled apart.
We pulled up to the huge town hall. A grabbed Shawn hand and walked out of the limo. We walked into the town hall to see hundreds and hundreds of people. Classical music was playing and waiters were walking around with trays of champaign. "This place is gorgeous." I said to Shawn. "I know." Shawn agreed. We sat down at our table and ate dinner.
After our dinner a beautiful classical cover of 'A Thousand Years' started to play. Shawn stood up and stuck out his hand. "Would you like to dance?" Shawn asked smiling at me. "I would love to." I smiled grabbing his hand. We walked to the dance floor and started to slow dance. I rested my head on his chest. I listened to his heart beat. "Anastasia." Shawn said, getting my attention. "Yes?" I asked looking up to him. "I love you so much. You make me so happy. I have never felt so much love towards any other girl. I feel like the luckiest man alive because that's how you make me feel." Shawn said looking into my eyes.
Tears started to form in my eyes. "I love you so much Shawn." I said smiling. "I'm glad I'm here with you. You make me so freaking happy Shawn. I do know w-" I got cut off by Shawn kissing me. The kiss was so passionate and full of love. We pulled apart just as the song ended. And right in that moment...... I knew I was madly in love with Shawn Mendes.
