{ 3:30 am}
Shawn and I woke up early the next morning to catch our four in the morning flight. "Shawn,
Get up." I whispered while shaking him."Huh? What?" Shawn slurred while stretching. "We have to get up." I said once again, but this time yanking off the blankets and turning on the lights. Shawn groaned and covered his eyes. "Shawn they have Starbucks at the airport. If you get up now we can probably get some." I said going into the bathroom go get ready.
I heard scrambles from Shawn's bedroom and feet walking over to the door. "Babe, I have to brush my teeth." Shawn said opening up the door. I nodded and started to put my hair in a messy bun.
I played around with my bun, but eventually just left it like it was. "Oh well, this is fine I guess." I said looking at the mirror one last time before leaving the bathroom. I left my Ray Ban glasses on, and wore Shawn's maroon obey hoodie, with a pair of leggings.
After I was dressed I went back into the bathroom and started brushing my teeth while Shawn was doing his hair. "You look so cute." Shawn said hugging me from behind. "I don't have makeup on, that is such a lie." I laughed. "You don't need it." Shawn replied. "That was so cliche." I laughed even harder. "Don't act like you don't love it." Shawn said kissing my cheek.
I finished brushing my teeth and got all of Shawn and I's bags together. I took them all downstairs quietly, so that I wouldn't wake up Shawn's family.
Shawn came running down the stairs with a note in his hand. "What's that for?" I asked. "It's a note for my family. Even though they will see me in a week, I still think it's appropriate to leave a note." Shawn said leaving the note on the table and grabbing his keys.
"Awe that's so sweet Shawn." I smiled at him. "Awe I know." He mimicked. I nudged him and opened up the door.
Shawn and I put our bags in the truck and drove to the airport.
When we got to the airport, it looked almost empty. We walked over to the Starbucks stand in the middle of the airport and ordered a passion tea.
We sat down and waited for Geoff to get here. "What time is it Shawn?" I asked taking a sip of my Starbucks. "4:15." Shawn replied, locking his phone. I nodded and sipped my tea.
In the mornings, no one can talk to me. I'm literally a zombie. I started to think about my songs that I haven't written in a long time. I actually forgot that I even had my guitar with me. In my guitar case is where I kept all of my songs and sheet music.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when Geoff finally showed up. "Hey Shawn, what's up man" Geoff said, as Shawn stood up to hug him. I stood up and smiled.
Shawn and Geoff pulled apart and both looked over at me. "So is this her?" Geoff asked pointing at me, but look at Shawn. "Yeah. Geoff, this is Anastasia. Anastasia, this is Geoff." Shawn said looking back and forth introducing us. "Hey, it's nice to finally meet you." I smiled. Geoff engulfed me in a hug. I was a tad taken back, but I hugged him back. It wasn't to awkward, it was a simple and sweet hug. Geoff let go of me and we all laughed.
"Okay, well we should probably go before we miss our flight." Shawn said grabbing his bags and a few of mine. "Yeah we have to go they are going to be boarding soon." I said walking to our gate.
When we got to out gate, the flight attendant was scanning everyone's tickets and boarding them onto the plane. "Perfect timing." Geoff said pulling out all of our tickets and having the flight attendant scan all of them at once.
"Have a safe flight!" The perky, blonde flight attendant cheered. I smiled and thanked her.
Geoff sat in the back of the plan, while Shawn and I sat in the front. Shawn put our bags above us and locked the little cubby. Shawn sat down and took out his phone and headphones.
"Shawn, can I listen to music with you? I forgot mine..." I trailed off. "Sure babe." Shawn whispered.
