I woke up to an empty bed. I propped myself up and started to look around. I shrugged and forced myself out of bed. I walked into the little kitchen area in our room, to find a note on the kitchen table.

"Ana, I'm sorry I had to leave you alone this morning, I forgot that I had rehearsal for tonight's show this morning. Meet me at the café a block away at 11:30, we will meet for coffee and lunch.

I love you,
Shawn"

I smiled at the note and put it back on the table. I looked over at the clock.

10:30 am.

I decided to start getting ready so that I would be a little early. I slid on a flannel, my ripped jeans, and a pair of riding boots. I let my natural hair flow down my back and I grabbed my phone.

By the time I was ready, It was 11:00. I left the hotel and walked down the street. The way the red and yellow leafs were slowly falling down to the ground as a cool breeze brushed across me made me feel relaxed and happy.

After a block, I was at the café. I pushed the entrance door open, to have the scent of coffee slap me in the face. I sat down at a table near the big fire place in the center on the café.

I reached for my phone but then pulled back. I decided to just sit in silence instead of go  on my phone.

It didn't take long until I heard the door opening and closing, footsteps approaching me. I felt to large hands hold both of my shoulders. "Hey beautiful." Shawn said kissing the top of my head.
I stood up and hugged him. He was still cold because of being outside for a while. "Hi." I whispered. "You'er freezing. Here sit down and I'll get us our coffee." I said turning around, but being stopped by Shawn. "No it's okay. I want to go get them." "Latte right?" He asked following with a sweet smile. I nodded and sat back down.

I watched him as he waited in line. The way he walked, talked, hell. Everything he did he was so.... charming. He is so tall and broad. A few times and would run his fingers through his soft brown hair. I shook the thought off and grabbed my phone to check Twitter.

I shook my head in disgust seeing all of the hate. Not only to me, but to random people. So many times people hurt each other, I don't understand why anyone would say such hurtful things to people that can't help what they look like, or how they speak. Little things like that, can make a hurtful impact on someone.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Shawn asked sitting down. I looked at him and took a deep breath then smiled. "How was rehearsal?" I asked grabbing his hand. "It was great, I'm feeling good about the performance." He replied. "I'm glad."

I took a sip of my coffee and rapped my hands around the mug and looked up at Shawn. "Anastasia I have to tell you something." A sudden wave of panic washed over me. "What is it Shawn?"

"So I was talking to my record label today and they are looking for new artists. I mentioned you." He said taking a sip of his coffee. I almost spit out my coffee. "Shawn what?" I said excited. "Yeah they want to hear you sing." Shawn smiled. "Oh my god. Shawn thank you so much." I said getting up and hugging him. "When am I singing for them?" I asked pulling away to see Shawn's face. "I'm not sure yet." Shawn said taking another sip of his coffee.

I felt myself becoming pale. "Hey honey, I know you can do it. Don't get nervous." Shawn whispered.  I nodded and started to calm down. "Thank you." I said smiling.

I took a final sip of my coffee and stood up. Shawn finished his coffee, grabbing his black pea coat and wrapping it around my shoulders.

I grabbed Shawn's hand and walked out of the café. "So princess, what do you want to do today?" Shawn asked as we walked down the street.

"Well I have something on my bucket list that I've always wanted to do. And that's go on a double decker bus tour around New York." I replied. "Well let's do that." Shawn said smiling down at me. I nodded then boosted myself up on my toes to peck Shawn's lips.

We walked around the city until we found a bus to get on. Shawn paid the man standing next to the bus, who was gathering tickets and money from other people.

Shawn and I ran to the top of the bus, where surprisingly no one was at the top. Shawn and I sat next to each other waiting for the tour to start.

I sat back starting to think about what is happening in my life. Being with my super handsome and talented boyfriend, watching his shows every night, a new city everyday.

"This is crazy you realize that right?" I asked with a chuckle. "What do you mean love?" Shawn asked with a smile. "We are both living our dream. Well kinda, I'm not fully living my dream. Not yet anyways." I said looking up to meet Shawn's topaz eyes.

"I know, I couldn't think of anything better. I'm with you, I'm traveling, meeting new fans everyday, and sharing my music with the world. It's so surreal." Shawn said with a huff.

"Yeah it is, and I'm so proud of you." I said leaning on his shoulder.

The bus started to move, causing my long brown hair to flow with the wind.  I was looking up at all of the tall buildings in awe. We got to a stop light that was just above our heads. Shawn quickly ducked down. "It was about to hit me." Shawn said causing both of us to laugh hard. "I love you." I said after my huge fit of laughter. "I love you too." Shawn replied kissing my forehead.

I put my bead back on his shoulder and enjoyed the rest of the tour.
