Brittany's POV
It's already 7:30am and my class is at 8. I can't believe I finally got the opportunity to go on this exchange and I'm going to be late on my first day at school.
I'm Brittany S.Pierce and I live in Manchester, England. Iv always had a fascination with America, especially New York! When I found out that my school was starting exchanges to America for seniors I begged my parents. They said yes 3 months ago and now here I am about to start my first day in a New York High School.
I went down stairs to see my breakfast laid out for me. Too bad I slept in and it was cold. I saw Mrs Sim my caregiver and immediately felt guilty for causing so much drama on my first morning in Mew York. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Mrs Sim. Breakfast looks delicious, but I really have to run. My biology class starts in half an hour!" I hold my breath and wait for a reply. "Oh it's fine dear. Have a lovely day. I'm finishing work late tonight so make yourself at home. Spare keys under the mat." She said with a smile. I thanked her and walked out.
I rushed down the block, luckily school isn't very far other wise I'm sure I would get caught up in the fast pace of the city.
