One Choice Her or Me

:Andre's POV:

Monae unlocked the doors and we got in. She turned on some music and waited for my directions. "I don't live to far, but Maple Head neighborhood you know where that's at?" I asked turning my head towards her. "Yupp." she said backing out of the driveway. "I'm just gona forewarn you when you pull up to my house just go ahead and drive away or my moms gonna want to meet you." I said looking ahead. "That's fine with me I'll meet her since I am gonna have to come to your house numerous times this year." she smiled which made me smile. "Alright that's you though." I sat back and bobbed my head to the music until she turned it all the way down. "Quick question." she said looking like she was in thought. "Shoot" I said. "Ok well is Lea gonna be ok with me being around you so much after school when we have projects?" she took a side glance at me and looked back at the road. I didn't even think about Lea at all today to be honest. I was just ready to spend more time with Dimples. I really like that name. Monae snapped her fingers in my face. "Uhm you gona tell me where to go and answer my question?" she smiled at me. I looked out the wwindow. This was the second time something like that happened. "Uhh go straight then take right and the house is on the left. And she shouldn't have a problem with it considering she's going to be hanging out with another guy and i have no worries about that so why should she worry?" I raised my eyebrow at her. "Okay just asking." she said turning on my street. "Well it was easy finding your house considering it's the only one on this street." she said pulling up in the driveway and turning off the truck. I got out and saw that Lea's car was outside. "Damn." I said walking up the steps. "What's wrong?" Monae asked standing beside me. "Lea's here" I sighed going in my pocket for my keys. "Oh well i can just see you tomorrow." she said turning around and for some reason I didn't want her to leave just yet. "Wait she won't bother you you don't have to leave." I grabbed her arm. She looked at me as if to say You Sure. "I promise she won't bother you Dimples." i said making her smile. "Okaii" she finally agreed as I opened the door.

:Monae's POV:

"Maa I'm home." Dre called out. Then a middle aged light skinned woman came around a corner and smiled a loving smile and looked at me. She had her curly hair pulled up into a high ponytail that touched her neck and her facial features were beautiful. She walked over and smacked Dre on the back of his head. "Ow" he said rubbing the spot she hit. 'Boy you got Lea all in my house worried about where you were I could've choked that lil girl." she spat then looked at me. "Now introduce me to this little beauty." she said turning to me. I guess she doesn't take to kind to Lea at all. "Ma this is Monae, Monae this is my mom. We were assigned to be partners this year." Dre said rubbing the back of his neck. "Hii" I smiled. "Hey hun so this means I'll be seeing more of you and less of Lea?" she asked me. I looked at Dre and he looked at his mom with his mouth open. "Ma that's my girlfriend Monae is just my partner nothing more." I don't know why but that kind of hurt and my smile slowly disappeared. I guess his mom noticed my change in moods so she spoke, "Ok well Monae you're more than welcomed to visit. Now I have a few things to pick up so I'm going to a couple of stores Dre clean that damn room and Monae I'll see you soon hun." she smiled walking away. "You better clean that room." I said pushing his shoulder. "You should help me." he said smiling. "I'm kind of a clean freak so I actually could help you." I stood in front of him. He leaned down and I stepped back. "You should go find your worried girlfriend." I reminded him. I don't want drama and I meant it. "Oh yea" he said walking past me into what I'm guessing was the living room.

"Lea?" he called out. She came skipping out of the kitchen smiling and dropped it when she laid eyes on me. "What is she doing here?" she sneered. "She drove me home." Dre said walking towards the refrigerator. "Why were you with her? in the first place?" she continued like I wasn't even there. "You want something to drink?" Dre asked me ignoring her. "Sure I said sliding past her and sitting on one of the bar stools. "Can I talk to you in private Andre?" Lea said almost like she was begging.

:Andre's POV:

"Ok I'll be back Nae." I said walking past Lea and upstairs to my room. I turned around as Lea came storming into my room. "Did you fuck her?!" she yelled. I got pissed she was embarrassing herself for no reason. I know she has trust issues but damn calm the fuck down. "No and keep yo voice down I don't need the whole neighborhood to hear your lil rant." I said going to my bathroom. "Well why is she here Dre huh why tell me that." she said walking into the bathroom behind me. I took off my shirt and stared at Lea in the mirror something wasn't right, I felt it. "In case you didn't know if you would have stopped trying to kiss on my damn neck in class she my fuckin partner what the hell is wrong with you. There is nothing to be mad about I went over to her house so fuckin what." I semi-yelled. "Don't cuss at me Andre why did you have to go to her house? You could have just brought her here and we could have all sat and talked!" she poked my chest. I walked past her and went in my drawer. I put on my shirt and some basketball shorts and spoke again, "Are you even listening to yourself why would I put her in that kind of awkward position if I already knew you were gonna stare her down the whole time and on top of that yo ass left me at the school what hell was i suppose to do anyways!" I was done with this dumbass conversation and Lea needed to leave. "Lea look I'm not gonna stand here and have a screaming match with you so why don't you just leave." I sat on my bed and pointed at the door. She opened and closed her mouth, but said nothing she just stormed out.

:Monae's POV:

I just sat at the bar drumming my fingers and humming a song when I heard screaming. "Did you fuck her?!" I didn't want to hear the rest so I just put in my earphones. I was contemplating just leaving, but tht would be rude so I just sat and waited. Then I heard stomping, so I turned around and saw Lea coming down the steps looking pissed. We locked eyes, she rolled her and walked out the door. Not to long after that Dre came down in a tank and basketball shorts. Perfect. I turned back around quickly and started humming again. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took one of my earbuds out and turned around. As soon as I turned around lips crashed against mine, instantly I kissed back then pulled back quickly. My face felt hot so I looked down. "Oh my God I'm so sorry what was I thinking." Andre said walking away. "Uh it's okay just frustration and I just so happened to be here." I said stepping down and getting my keys. "Just don't tell her and I won't" I touched his shoulder and started walking towards the door only to be turned around. "Thanks Dimples you're going to be a really special friend." Dre said hugging me tight. And he meant just that.
