I looked at Saige as she rubbed her hand through her hair. "So the day I told you all I was a lesbian I kind of had to leave." She looked at Dre. "Why?" Dre said looking confused. "I was a disappointment, I've seen how some kids are turned away completely because of their sexuality. I didn't want that to be me. So I already had a place I could stay. I wasn't far I was in Georgia." she looked down. "So why are you back even though I'm glad I'm just asking." Dre came and sat on the other side of Saige. "I missed you all. I knew I couldn't just run away from my problems and I made one Ma and Dad had no problem when I told them. I think they were just happy it wasn't you." She smiled at Dre's face. "I'm sorry for leaving, but I thought I needed to, but I guess I was wrong huh?" she looked at Dre who was nodding. I grabbed my keys I could talk to Dre another time. "Well you two have catching up to do so I'll go." I got off the chair. "No." they both said in unison looking at me. I stepped towards the door. "Yupp I'll talk to you some other time Dre nice meeting you Saige." I waved and walked out the door. I drove back home and thought about Zay I needed to apologize. I pulled into our driveway and got out. Walking in the house I heard talking I immediately knew it was Jessie and Caylen. I guess they didn't hear the door open. I closed it quietly and walked up the steps. "No Jessie what are we going to do?" Caylen cried. "Babe we're gonna get through this." Jessie spoke. "No this isn't right this is going to hurt all of them." She cried louder and I felt confused. I walked to my room and pulled out my phone. Before I could dial Zay's number Bre walked into my room. "Uhh." she groaned falling back on my bed. "You ok?" I hovered over her. "There's so much going on." She sighed and looked at me. "Wait ok?" I looked at her confused. "Wait for what? What are you talking about?" I asked sitting beside her. "A lawyer called here about Nana's will." she changed the subject. "And?" I took off my shoes and headed towards my closet. "He wants all of us to come to his office tomorrow." she called behind me. I changed into some shorts and a tank. "To read it?" I asked walking back out. "Yea we have to be there at 9." she looked out my window. "New neighbors?" she looked at me. "Yea but why read it so late?" I sat on my bed. "He said on the front it said something about waiting a couple of weeks." she sat back down beside me. "Where's Adrian? " I asked getting up. I walked out my room and into hers. I saw a note on her bed and picked it up.

Gone for the weekend. Don't worry I'm with Nigel and if you need me just call my phone and yes I know it's only Monday but you know (: Anyways don't be mad I just up and left it seems everyone has their own problems right now and I needed a break.

I stomped out her room and went back to mine. "What's wrong with you?" Bre asked pulling her hair up. "Read it." I handed her the note and picked up my phone. "Hello?" Adrian answered sounding pissed. "What the hell are you thinking do yo-" I was cut off by Adrian. "I'm coming home today Nigel is such a fuckin asshole sometimes." she spat and hung up. I looked at the phone and blinked. Did she just hang up on me? I looked at Bre and she was standing in my bathroom. "What are you doing?" I asked watching her. "Nothin" she walked out my bathroom. I looked out my curtains to see the new neighbors walking next door. Uh. "Bre they're comingbover here." I turned to her and she was walking out the door. I followed behind her going downstairs and the doorbell rung. Bre walked into the kitchen so I had to open the door. I opened the door to see a woman smiling. I smiled back. "Hi I'm Carey we're your new neighbors." she peeped around my shoulder. I turned to see Bre behind me. "Oh well let me introduce the rest." she continued. "This is my husband Joe, my daughter Mitchie, and son Devin. I looked around her and noticed that it wasn't just a daughter. Their son was cute. "I'm Monae and this is my sister Bre." I finally spoke. When I did their son finally looked up and smiled at me. I diverted my gaze back to his mom. "Are your parents home?" Carey asked looking around. "Uh-" Bre cut me off, "They're not here right now." she nudged my shoulder. I looked back at her. When I turned around I saw Adrian walking up the driveway. She looked at me and rose her eyebrows. "Oh that's my other sister Adrian. " I gestured behind them. " They're our new neighbors Adrian. " she smiled and waved. "Hello." she walked past them and into the house. "Well we just wanted to introduce ourselves so have a nice day. Carey said backing up. "Welcome to the neighborhood. " I called behind them. Their son turned around and waved at me? I closed the door and went to Adrian's room. Bre was already in there asking questions. "Why would you just leave like that?" she sat on Adrian's desk. I leaned against the door and watched her unpack. "Well it was a spur the moment thing. But never again." she slammed her draw closed and turned around. "He told me that he's leaving for the rest of the summer and I won't see him so I told him to bring me home." she sat on the bed. "Me and Bre both looked at Adrian like she was stupid. "What?" she looked at me. "You're mad over that?" I asked. "Yea he could have told me weeks before and not the week before." she spat. I looked at Bre. I didn't want to say anything else so I just stopped talking.
