First Day

:Monae's POV:

I reached over and turned off my alarm and grabbed my ringing phone

WAKEE UPPP IT'S THE FIRST DAY !!

I was about to reply when someone banged on my door. "Nae you up?" Demitrius called through the door. "Yea now i guess." I heard feet shuffling away so I'm guessing he left. I got out of my bed and as soon as my feet hit the cold floor i cursed myself for not getting a rug to put on my floor. I went into my bathroom and got in the shower. While washing my hair i started thinking about my life and how i felt alone and that things weren't right. My parents should be alive. A tear slipped down my face so that's when i cut off the shower and brushed off the thoughts.

Walking into my closet i cursed myself again for not picking out something to wear last night, but I was really tired dealing with Bre and her mouth. Maybe i should tell you a little about myself. Well i have one brother and 3 sisters. I'm the youngest but that doesn't bother me. We live in this big house in Miami, yea you're wondering how ... don't worry about it. I decided to just wear a pink button down sleeveless shirt and some shorts since it was still hot outside. I squinted at the sun as i looked out my window. Thoughts of how my life was terrible kept creeping up so I went back to my closet for my shoes so i could go downstairs. "Uhh where are they" I groaned. I walked out my room and into Adrian's room. I didn't even knock i just walked in. "And we gone do it like it's about to be the end of the worldd." I heard singing coming from the bathroom. "A do you have my shoes?" I pushed open the door. "Uhm excuse you i could have been naked" she bucked her eyes. "But you're not anyways do you have my shoes?" I asked again losing patience.

"Which ones?" she smiled. Adrian and I were 3 months apart in age but we're both 16. She was always talking about my height because I'm the shortest out of all of us. "Uhm how many pairs of my shoes do you have? uhh you know what never mind my pink converse." I looked at the clock. We had 20 minutes before we had to leave. "They're over there" she pointed. I turned around and they were by the door. "How do you where my shoes when my feet are smaller than yours?" I asked putting on my shoes. " I have no clue, but get out i have to finish getting dressed." she plugged in her flat iron. 'Why do that when your have is going to be back curly as soon as you get in your car?" I asked walking towards the door. She thought about it and unplugged it.

I ran back to my room and grabbed my pink mini back to match my shirt got some jewelry and went downstairs. "D!" I yelled running and jumping on his back. "Nae the fuck you think this is?" he said shrugging me off. "I love you too" I smiled which made him smile. "Uh to much pep and it's not even 8 yet." Bre said walking past me to the refrigerator. "Good morning to you too" Demitrius said pushing her shoulder. "Boy don't start it's to early" she rolled her eyes getting out the orange juice. "Where's Caylen and Adrian?" D asked." We're right here calm down" Caylen walked into the living room and sat on the couch. "You need to eat" D said shoving a cereal bar in her face. "Well thanks "Father" she put up air quotes. I got a cereal bar, got my keys, and started towards the door. "It seems the rest of you will be late, but I'm not so good bye. "Hold up Nae let me ride with you i don't feel like driving and i gotta get my schedule from my room." Adrian skipped the steps going to her room. "Maybe i wanted to drive alone." I called behind her. "I'm riding with Bre" Caylen said going to the door. "Me too" Demitrius walked out behind her. "Who said I wanted to drive both of you." Bre said getting her bag and phone. She walked past me mumbling. "C'mon Adrian you got 2 seconds. I put up my fingers like she could see them.

I'm right here she skipped back down the steps and out the door. "I guess I'll lock the door" i mumbed to myself. I walked over to my Range Rover and got in. I don't know how i can see over the steering wheel with how short I am, but i can surprisingly and well too. "Don't kill me" Adrian said putting on lip gloss. "Uhm then you can scoot back out my truck." I started the car and drove towards the school.

I know the first chapter is boring, but i needed it there to inroduce some of the main characters the story will get better i promise. And Excuse the errors
