Truth Or Dare?

I stepped out the door nervously feeling self conscious about what Soul would think of me. Soul looked up from where he stood and his eyes widened noticeably.
"Wow...Nova you look...Wow" he said and I could feel Clara's envious stare.
"I think the word your looking for is 'Bad Ass'." I giggled feeling slightly bad for Clara...I mean she had him first..
"Well lets go play.. come on Soul." Clara said grabbing his hand and leading him over to the waiting teens.
"look who's back. Hi I'm Jacklyn! The ginger is Cody, the blonde is Benjamin, the brunette male is Mark, and the brunette female is Clarissa." Jacklyn said pointing out everyone as she went along.
"I'm Soul, the badass brunette is Nova, and the chick with the fire hair is Clara." Soul said laughing slightly as he copied Jacklyn's introduction.
"well you guys gunna play or nah..." Benjamin asked.
"Yeah." Me and Clara said at the same time.
"Hey, your hot. Wassup?" Benjamin said moving closer to Clara.
"never happening Ben." She scoffed and I stifled a giggle.
"Oooo! Twice! Today is not your day man!" Cody yelled.
"Let's play now.." I said hesitantly. We all sat down in circle.
"Cody truth or dare?" Jacklyn asked getting right into it.
"Dare." Cody responded with a challenging smirk.
"Do the chicken dance." Jacket said with a smirk of her own. Cody just moved over to get more space and danced his little heart out.., okay that's an exaggeration. Cody flailed around attempting the chicken dance while we all 'Whoop'd' and clapped to cheer him on.
"Done, Benjamin truth or dare man." Cody said after he retured sounding slightly out of breathe.
"Truth." Benjamin replied.. I think I'm going to call him Benny from now on.
"Wimp, who's your crush?" Cody challenged him.
"well...um..actually it's Clarissa.." Benny mumbled. I assumed he was hoping she wouldn't here... She did.
"R-really?" She stuttered smiling.
"Yes.., Nova Truth or dare." Benny replied and then immediately changed the topic.
"Truth" I said sounding bored.
"Do you like anyone?" He questioned and I froze.
"Yeah...I guess" I said glancing at Soul who seemed to be looking at me.
"Oooooo" Jaclyn and Cody chant.
"Clara truth or dare?" I asked my fiery haired friend.
"Dare" she said with a smile.
"Hug the person of your choice." I said and I knew immediately who she was going to hug. Clara got up and hugged Soul who returned it before going back to her spot.
"D-done" she stuttered blushing.
"Soul Truth or dare?" She asked him getting a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Dare" he replied cooly.
"Share your real name with the group" she smirked and did a little victory dance in her spot which made Clarissa, Jacklyn, and I giggle.
"I hate you..you know I hate it..." He mumbled and shot glares at her. If looks could kill...
"No ones gunna judge you..well maybe me..." I said sarcastically smiling at him. He stuck his tongue it at me.. What is he? Four?
"it's uh..Ryan.." He said quietly but I still heard him. O.m.g! I love that name... I used to have a imaginary friend -who happened to be a prince- named Ryan.
"Omg that's one of my favourite names!! Aside from Brett and Josh..." I exclaimed then trailed of thinking about the names I like.
"Yeah, you have a nice name." Jacklyn added.
"I rather stick to soul please." He said and I nodded at him.
Everyone-"Alright." We all said simultaneously... Weird.
"Nova, Truth or dare." Soul asked me.
"Trare..Also known as both." I said feeling gutsy... More like wanted to impress everyone that I'm not just some damsel in distress who always picks truth.
"is that allowed?" Clarissa asked sounding suspicious,
"is now." I stated and stuck my tongue out..wow now who's the 4 year old?
"for your dare I dare you to sit on someone's lap for the rest of the game. For your truth, why don't you share your real name?" He said then winked at me causing me to look down semi shyly.
"I hate so you much right now..my real name is Taylor..and I shall sit on... Clara!" I said trying to sound calm. I then jumped up and plopped down onto Clara's lap.
"Fatty." She grumbled and readjusted so she could get comfy.
"How dare you!! I'm so wounded!!" I gasped and held a hand to my heart. The others chuckled.
"I love your name." Should said smiling and I blushed and smiled back.
"yeah it's really nice." Cody pipped up.
"Th-thanks." I stuttered feeling a bit better.
"I'm bored, let's play spin the bottle!!" Benny yelled.
"ew no" I said making a disgusted face.
"Nova's right that's gross, you just wanna kiss hot girls" Jacklyn added.
"come one. It can't be that bad!" Soul said and wiggled his eye brows at me which I returned with a fake gag.
"A-alright" Clara said stuttering and looking at Soul all the while. Everyone agreed eventually, so I got off Clara and sat back down beside Cody.
"I'll spin first" Benny said.. Figures. He spun it and as karma would have it it landed on Cody.
"shit" he said and we all burst out laughing.
"OF ALL THE PEOPLE IT COULD HAVE LANDED ON IT LANDED ON CODY!!" Benny shouted and I laughed even harder.
"Do it! Do it! Do it!" I changed and some others joined in. Soon enough Benny gave a quick peck on the lips to a disgusted Cody.
"done..I hate you"he grumbled and glances at Clarissa.
"My turn! Haha! Jacklyn come here!" Cody yelled and spun. Luck would have it it landed on Jacklyn. I so ship them.
"Why did we chose to play this again..yuck!" She said as Cody kissed her.. They both blushed either way.
"Jacklyn just spin" Soul said sounding anxious.
"Soul..." Jacklyn said as the bottle landed on him.
"Oh..." Clara said sounding broken... I know how she felt, but... it's only a peck.
"Well now it's my turn.." Soul muttered after it was over.. I wonder if he liked it? Soul spun the bottle but I was to deep in thought to see who it landed on.
"Woo! Get some Soul!" Benny yelled and that brought me out of my thoughts just in time to see the bottle pointing at me... Of course..
"I-I guess it's us.." I stuttered feeling my face go red.
"Yup.." He trailed off then walked over to me.. Wow I never thought I would have my first 'Actual' kiss like this. I don't count all the times I was... Yeah... Anyway Soul crouched down to where I was sitting and cupped my cheek with his hand. Slowly he moved in and I closed my eyes meeting him halfway. Is it cliche to say it was like fireworks? I guess so.. So I guess I will use bombs. It felt like bombs were going off inside my head.
"I...uh think it's time to get to bed.." Clara stuttered as soul and I hastily moved apart while the rest of the group just smirked... Except for Ben.. He was making some pretty rude finger gestures towards us.
"I guess I have to bring you back to your cell...tomorrow...'they' will be back to put you on trial to see what will happen to you... Let's hope they let you stay in the group as a normal member.." Soul said to me sadly. I was still in thought about out kiss.. It may have not been the way I imagined it would happen but it was still something.
"Yeah..." I said. The group disbanded and said goodnight to each other as Soul led me back down the dark stairs to the basement.
"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you.. Not while I'm still here.." He spoke and looked me in the eyes. His words held nothing but honesty and I swear I melted right there. We said goodnight and I sat against the wall falling asleep to the groaning of distant biters.
