LxLight- Change of events

When Light was finished, He was soaked through to the bone and exhausted, but happy. L lied on top of him, kissing his neck. When Light lifted L's head with the tip of his finger and placed his tongue straight into L's mouth. L grabbed L's hand and dragged him up, quickly turning off the shower and pulling him out the door and into their bedroom. He lay back on the bed and Light felt all his energy return as he looked at L on the bed. He crawled on top of L and kissed him intently.

"L?"

"Yes." Light was slightly astonished that L was going to let him go further than before. He smiled and gazed into L's eyes who smiled back. Light moved down but then stopped. Kira was

screaming wildly in his head and he suddenly realised this was too dangerous to do now.

"I'm sorry I can't!"

"Why?" L worried that there was something wrong with him.

"It's not you but if I slip up once then we're both too vulnerable for Kira to take over which I feel will happen. It's just not safe." L smiled understandably.

"Well I guess it's just another reward we'll get for killing Kira." They went back to what they normally did which was just fine for them.

In the morning they woke up and made out a little then got dressed and went downstairs. Misa was already downstairs and jumped Light. L grinned to himself at the knowledge he held, for Misa didn't know Light's reaction after her date and how repulsed he was. She also didn't know how they were pleasuring each other. And, she didn't know L's plan. Whilst she was smothering Light with kisses, L smirked slowly, ready to break his news.

"Misa I have some good news." Misa looked startled and realised Light briefly, who was just as curious as her. "Since we caught a Kira, you may return to your job and own home."

Misa and Light's eyes widened and they both expressed delight. Light pretended that he was pleased for Misa but obviously he was happy that he could distance himself from her. She went and packed and Light and L told the investigation team they would go and 'help'. Nobody suspected anything as they just thought the two had become best friends so did things together. L and Light ran to their floor and went in one of the spare bedrooms as they couldn't bare to wait any longer. Light pushed L back against the pillow and bit at his neck. "Good plan, L." He made L's name roll around his tongue in a way L found incredibly sexy and so grabbed the back of his neck and slammed their lips together. They knew they didn't have long so they made sure they didn't go too crazy but none the less moved as fast and furious as always.

They all waved a grinning Misa off and Light and L were smiling just as much. Again no one else noticed and it's a surprise they're on the investigation team. Everyone headed back in and continued their investigation. L pretended to search for information whilst Light worked on covering his tracks. Watari also helps with Light as he understands how important this is to L. The others searched through files and looked at documents on their computers. It became late and as usual, no progress was made. People began to go to their rooms and Light went up before L and Soichiro. He went into his and L's main room and decided something. He brushed his teeth, got undressed and wrote a note. He left it on their usual bed and picked up the pile of his clothes and walked into the hallway. Knowing L he'd play along and figure it all out in under a minute. Light walked into the rooms at random, carelessly throwing one item of clothing somewhere visible in the room. He did this until he had two items left and was at the last room in the hall. He entered and waited by the door, to see L.

As soon as Soichiro had got in the elevator and the doors fully shut, L logged off his computer and jumped from his seat running to the second Lift and quickly pressing the button, to his floor where Light was.
