LxLight- Change of events

Matt was on his twelve game in an hour as he had beat the others with the high scores. He hadn't even noticed when Near ran past him. The cigarette loosely hung in between his lips until he heard a familiar sound. Matt looked a lot younger than he was due to his small build. Most people seemed to think he was 11-13 but really he was 15. Mello was his best friend and was 17. Together they kept a secret that would be frowned upon by society and the people they knew. Mello would probably frown upon it as well if he knew the truth. They would sexually experiment with each other and had for 3 years now. But Matt felt he was actually falling in love with Mello. He felt like the times they fucked were special even if they were regular. He also cared greatly about him as well. But the sound he heard was very familiar to him and often a soundtrack in his dreams. He could hear Mello's sexual moans. He dropped the controller and followed the sounds until he found the room Mello was in. Mello smiled when Matt walked in as he knew the reason he was there and beckoned him over, showing him the things he found in one of the rooms. Matt pulled Mello's leather shirt off whilst kissing him.

Near was halfway through building a fortress out of dice when he could hear a sound he heard regularly because his room was beside Mello's. He looked at Light who stayed asleep so Near got up quietly and went to the sound. He pushed the door open and both boys were almost bare naked.

"I have to see this all the time but this is L's house! And Light is ill! I can hear you so have some respect!" Near marched back out and Mello laughed. At no point, did Matt stop moving his head but he was smiling too. Near went back into Light to find he was shivering. Near dodged his fortress of dice and train tracks. He shut the window and got Light another blanket. Whilst watching him, Near decided to climb in. He hugged around Light's waist and fell asleep.

L just landed in Japan and checked the british time. It would be dark and he expected Near to be eating so he thought he would call and check. Near's eyes fluttered open slowly as he heard a distant yelling.

"NEEAAAARR!!! GET THE PHONE! WE'RE BUSY!" There was laughter afterwards and Near rolled his eyes, got out of bed and traveled downstairs to the phone. Before moving he had to carefully slide out of the arms that had wrapped around him.

"Hello?" He muttered still sleepily.

"Near, how is Light? Is he okay, is the house okay? Talk to me?"

"Light seems to be doing okay. He hasn't woken or moved much except for when he put his

arms around me when we were sleeping." On the other end of the phone, L smiled as it's not

often Near shows the fact he's still a 7 year old as like the others they act very mature. But he

continued. "Matt and Mello are up playing, video games. So the house is fine. I'm about to make

myself food and I'm pretty sure Mello found your chocolate." L knew that something wasn't right

as Near paused at what Matt and Mello were doing. But he decided he'd check the security footage.

"I don't know when I'll be back Near as we have just landed."

"I thought as much." Near began to fiddle with his hair and could slightly hear Matt and Mello again so moved further throughout the house.

"Call me if Light changes in any kind of way, good or bad, big or small. Okay?"

"Yes L. Goodbye and goodluck with Light's father."

"Thank you Near." He hung up and went into his hotel room. Near went to the kitchen and began to make himself his meal. When he returned to Light's room he placed his plate on the bed side table and grabbed Light's medicine. He measured it out as L had and carefully force fed it to Light. When he was done he sat beside him again and ate his sandwich.
