had been planning my escape since i was a little girl . But as i was locked in my room for 'talking back' to Mr + Mrs Whittemore it all became so real. Was i really strong enough to leave what i called home ? My bag was packed , my room was made to look untidy and a letter was carefully perched on the top of my wardrobe . One last glance of my over the top room and i was out through the window .
Thinking about the estate being perfect you'd expect it to be placed somewhere where the sun beat down like California or Miami . Really the perfectly placed houses sat in the middle of Sheffield , England where the rain oftenly poured . Maybe god wanted me to escape because today luckily was the first day in the whole April month that it hadnt showered .
