My mothers eleventh rule was never to lie to anyone - okay , this rule was understandable .

When my mother came to free me and Scott from the estates jail we had to tell her the whole dead dog funeral story. My mother obviously hated the fact that we ruined her reputation and stopped me seeing Scott . Little did she know me and Scott were inseperable and would secretly meet after school.

We tip toed past Mr Reyes' house and onto the pathway . The path was highlighted by the orange street lights lining the roads . Then i saw her. I have chance to yank Stiles into the nearest bush but i was left in plain eye sight .

"Dear, why are you out past curfew ?" Asks Mrs Finch as she approaches me holding a tray littered with her famous chocolate chip cookies

"My mother sent me to the pharmacy. Shes pretty sick. She didnt want to be a nucence to anyone so she made an exception. She should be as good as knew tomorrow . I hope you dont mind Mrs Finch but i better get going" i smile sweetly and she puts her hand on my shoulder

"Of course im so sorry , Lydia, send her love from the Finch's wont you dearest" she finally leaves with a polite nod and a flash of her perfectly lined teeth

"Come on" i laugh pulling Stiles out of the bush i had pushed him in, a twig still sticking out his perfect hair, i pull it out with a giggle

"Thanks" he smiles and suddenly my knees feel a little weak

"No problem" i reply in a whisper.
