I Fell In Love With You All Over Again

They had a reason they were so calm when he told them he was leaving. They'd already ensured he wouldn't be going anywhere, even if he wanted.

He thought he was supposed to be getting picked up by his parents today. So he called them to let them know he was ready and packed, only for them to back out. They said they agreed with the members that he would recover far quicker with them, considering they see each other every day, live together, and have so many memories over the years.

Hyunjin gets it, but he didn't want to be their burden. If he never remembered, they'd just spend too much time trying to help him. It wasn't fair to them.

Not that they'd ever see it that way. They are all sweethearts, so they didn't want to hurt his feelings and took care of him without complaining. The only way to describe how they treated him was that he felt loved.

Even as he was ready to go, he'd hoped that they'd ask him to stay. Force him to stay by their side. It was selfish, he knows. But it's what he really wanted. He wanted to be with them always. Even if he was just in the way.

"You really want me to stay? Even if I only bring you down?" He asked quietly, hugging his arms around himself, too afraid to look at any of them for fear they would lie.

"Who exactly are you bringing down? Are they in the room with us? Because I could've sworn you only bring us up." Han said, smiling mischievously. Hyunjin smiled back, trying not to.

"Group hug!" Felix said, jumping to wrap his arms around both of them. The others came in one by one to join it, some of them pretending they were reluctant--Lee Know and Seungmin.

"But wait. You still have to tell me whatever it is you're hiding. I don't like being left in the dark about my own life. Let me tell you what I can or can't handle." He said.

Everyone looked at each other, tight-lipped. I.N bit his lip, before opening his mouth, but closing it because he didn't know how to start. Hyunjin was nervous because they were. And being still held by them, he couldn't help thinking back to his dream from last night...

Hyunjin POV

"Say aaah!" Han said, pointing his spoon before me like a child.

"Bleugh!" I opened my full mouth to show him all of my half-chewed food for fun, of course.

"Ew!" Han and the majority of the table filled with my members scrunched their faces in disgust. Changbin cringed, then laughed, though.

"You're the one who asked me to open my mouth while I'm eating." I shrugged, continuing to chew before swallowing.

"I was trying to be cute, you despicable ferret." He told me with his face still scrunched, but now pouting.

"He saw the table next to us doing it." Felix whispered so we could hear, but the table next to us couldn't.

No one seemed to know us in the quaint little restaurant, and that should be a given since I don't even know the language of the menu or where we are.
