The next week and a half went by like a blur, and before Bobbi knew it, the day for cheer tryouts came.

She had practiced everyday after school up until tryouts. Bobbi had done everything she could think of, wether it was throwing backhand-springs or practicing motions. She had even gotten Clint, Tony, Steve and Jan to stunt with her a few times.

As she pushed the doors to the school's gymnasium open, Bobbi felt that she was ready.

Since she was eligible for Varsity, the blonde had decided to shoot for that. The Varsity tryouts were being held by the squad's captains.

Sitting at a table in the gym were two girls. One Bobbi immediately recognized.

"Natasha?" Bobbi asked in disbelief.

The redhead smiled at her.

"Wow," The blue-eyed girl breathed out, "I know you told me you were on the squad, but you didn't tell me you were one of the captains!"

Natasha laughed at her reaction. "A girl's gotta have her secrets."

Bobbi smirked at Nat before diverting her attention the other girl.

Sitting next to Natasha was a girl with platinum blonde hair and green eyes. She had on a pair of black athletic shorts and a white dri-fit t-shirt.

Bobbi smiled at her. "Hi, I'm Bobbi Morse."

The girl smirked at her. "Hello, I'm Felicia Hardy, the other squad captain."

Felicia seemed like the type of person who was nice but at the same time held questionable motives. Bobbi decided to just treat her kindly, yet still keep an eye on her.

She then nodded. "It's nice to meet you."

The girl looked around the gym, trying to spot if anyone else was there. When she saw no one, she turned back to Natasha and Felicia.

"Where's the third captain?" Bobbi asked with a furrowed brow. She knew that every varsity cheer squad was supposed to have three captains.

"She transferred over Christmas break, along with a few other squad members," Natasha answered.

"Which is why we're holding tryouts," Felicia finished.

Bobbi nodded in understanding. Felicia stood up.

"Well, shall we begin?"

**
Tryouts had taken two hours for Bobbi.

Natasha and Felicia had her tumble for a while, doing everything from handstands to front flips.

After the tumbling, Bobbi did some basic motions and chants in front of them. The two captains then had Bobbi mimic their moves from one of their old dance routines.

Bobbi's tryouts finished out with some basic stunting. They couldn't do anything too complicated since it was only the three of them.

Yeah, Bobbi may or may not have been the only person to show up to tryouts.

After tryouts had finished, the blonde had gone back to her dorm to shower and work on homework. She was doing some exponential decay problems when Natasha entered their dorm.

Bobbi looked up. "Hey."

Natasha looked at her. "Hey."

Bobbi could see Natasha's lips fighting the urge to curl up into a smile. Bobbi's eyes then got a glimmer of hope.

Natasha looked the blonde straight in the eye and finally gave in, a large smile making its way onto her face. "You're in."

Bobbi jumped up from her desk. "Really?!"

Nat nodded. "Felicia and I were both extremely impressed. We were so impressed that we gave you a captain position."

Bobbi's blue eyes widened. "I'm the new third captain?"

Natasha smirked. "Yes."

Before Bobbi could even realize what she was doing, she was throwing herself at Natasha, engulfing her in a hug. "Thank you!"

The redhead smiled. "No problem."

**
Bobbi's first practice was after school the next day. The blonde had put on her black spandex cheer shorts and a pink dri-fit t-shirt.

Upon entering the gym, Bobbi saw fifteen figures in front of her. Two she recognized as Natasha and Felicia. The other thirteen were unfamiliar.

Felicia's green eyes landed on the new captain, and she turned to the other girls. "Ladies!"

Thirteen heads immediately snapped towards the green-eyed girl.

Felicia smirked and turned towards Bobbi. "Girls, this is Bobbi Morse. She's a new captain on the squad."

The girls all looked at Bobbi and gave her warm smiles. The blonde waved.

After having a ton of introductions, Bobbi had met all of her fellow squad members.

Her fellow cheerleaders (besides the captains) were Sharon Carter, Elektra Natchios, Ophelia Sarkissian, Katherine Pryde (who preferred to go by Kitty), Raven Darkholme, Patsy Walker, Neena Thurman, Ava Ayala, Julia Cornwall, Elizabeth Braddock (who preferred to be called Betsy), Greer Grant, Angela Del Toro and Jessica Drew.

Everyone seemed nice, except Ophelia and Raven. They were sending Bobbi bad vibes for some reason.

The squad worked on routines and stunts the entire time, with a little tumbling here and there.

At the end of practice, everyone was in the locker room.

"So Bobbi, where are you from?" Betsy asked, her British accent elegant and smooth.

"San Diego," The blonde answered.

"Oh, California," Kitty commented as she brushed out her brown hair, "I love vacationing there."

"Same!" Patsy chimed in.

"Yeah, I loved living there," Bobbi said, "But New York is nice, too."

"I agree," Jessica said, "The city life is nice."

Bobbi smiled at her squad members, loving how friendly they were being. She finished throwing her hair in a bun and grabbed her bag.

"See you all tomorrow!" She exclaimed as she exited the locker room.

While heading back to her room, Bobbi saw that the door to one of the janitor's closets was wide open.

She stopped in her tracks.

'Those are always closed.'

The blue-eyed girl slowly made her way towards the small closet and peered inside. She didn't see anyone.

Sensing someone behind her, Bobbi whipped around.

She was too late.

The blonde gasped as she was shoved inside the small space.
